Just watched the episode where Dadisa punishes Abhira and Ruhi. What a disgusting episode and disgusting Dadi and the rest of morons watching but not doing anything. Abhira and Ruhi were dizzy and about to faint from all the torture she put them through. She literally stood them outside under the sun without any water and food for over 6+ hours. After seeing all that instead of feeling any guilt and shame, she was angry at Armaan and Vidya feeding Abhira. She was telling Vidya to control Bahus like they are some dogs.

Why is domestic abuse glorified by these disgusting elders in Indian shows? Young ppl like Armaan, Ruhi, etc get hate for feeling and taking decisions because of these elders, but these disgusting elders go around commit crimes and ruin lives of young people and torture them yet they are always glorified and shown righteous in the shows

And bhai, then the hero expects the heroine to win the "hearts of their family" instead of filing a domestic violence case. I would have left the place the moment Vidya 'punished' Abhira by making her fake a sick-leave from her internship, and her husband didn't stand up for her

Chori ho gaya toh police ko report karo, cleaning service agency ko call karo. Nahi, auraton ki azaadi chheen ni hai aur usse normalise karna hai.

After all this one day Dadisa will be fine with the fam daughters n daughter-in-law's working and all this years of abuse ruining their life due to her regressive thinking will be forgotten and they will be happy family again

The saddest part is Dadisa wanted Abhira all the duties of Badi Bahu but consider her as part of the family.

She wanted Abhira to cook breakfast for the family everyday, but doesn't want her to sit in dinning table with everyone.

She literally finds out all the possible ways to punish Abhira
