Kids these days can be super mean and insensitive.

I wonder why some people see empathy and kindness as weaknesses.

Bullying is horrific

IMO, One way of giving it back to the bullies is by excelling in a particular field.. say a particular sports or studies.. be the Topper.. the no 1 in that field.. Teachers and rest of the students will take notice of you.. and eventually you would enter into the good books of the teachers..

It actually might. The school will be scared of bad PR and might take stronger measures to keep students in place. Stricter rules. Assuming all the bullying is happening only within the school grounds.

But then the students might just alienate the poor kid.

Kids can be very mean. School is hell for kiddos with problems at home, disabilities, learning issues, financial problems etc.

Sania can discuss this matter with the class- teacher and the principal and the class teacher needs to deliver a lecture to the whole class not to bully like this and not to tease/talk over this personal matter with the child.

It can help.

The bullies and the bullied both need counseling here. I hope the school steps up and does something.
