Not only with family, his reactions are organic when he is with ruhi also.

Mein itna bol rahi ke armaan ke character changes drastically based on situations & people. If she is his responsibility only that what he believes, then he should remind her to keep distance from his family members cos then it will be easy for both sides when she leaves. Woh yeh nahi kar raha, n nobody in the family suspects them to be in a deal marriage because of the way he reacts to abhira in front of them.

Realisation ki baat rahne dete hain before realising what is abhira for him he needs to realise lot of other things.

Jb tk ye drama and plot over na ho. We can presume them(abhimaan) as good friends. And they are. Otherwise we will not be able to enjoy. And agr makers armaan ko responsible man dikhana chahte hai. So it was fine ki wo ek bimar person ko akela chod ke ni gya just for a treat/party.
