Guess what pooja bhat next boy friend was sohail khan. When bobby got to know pooja hooked up with sohail he had again cried on sets(now do no if he cried so much everywhere as these are all magazine gossips of 90s and early 2000s. They are there on reditt (these and more story)

Best part even pooja bhat addiction to alchohol started after 1995-96 only and she stopped working after 1997-98. So she must have shot last movie around 1995-96. I guess break up with bobby deol made her lose interest in bollywood and she stared gaining weight. May be she was depressed after break up.

Well whatever i do not understand Dharmendra logic - son can be bollywood heros but not bahus.

Both neelam and pooja are decent girls although pooja was mu phat ( not diplomatic) so why break his sons heart let him marry whoever he likes.

After pooja bhat break up only bobby also lost interest in movies because most of his movies released from 1995-2000 were already mostly shot by 1996 or so. Bobby stopped taking much interest after 2000 only and did not bother about his health and fitness or movies etc may be he was upset at break up only. But whatever he remained loyal to his parents/family choice of wife all life must appreciate that. And his wife tanya was only 19-20 when she married him too young.

Actually all these three people bobby deol, neelam kotahri and pooja bhat movies can be made on their life only there is so much content

Now for fun part - if bobby deol had married pooja bhat than ranbir kapoor would be his saala(he would be sadoo or jija). No wonder in animal Bobby agreed to do 15 minutes appearnce and both ranbir and he became good friends. They have lot in common one ex BF of bhat sisters and one hubby to bhat sister.

Next fun part- sohail khan(salman brother) who was pooja bhat next BF is best friends with bobby deol now

Even more funny vikram bhat pooja bhat cousin was best friend of bobby in school (vijay deol)

Just read the title but not all the 17 pages...so could be that my comment now is mis-placed...

I haven't watched Tere Naam as it was the remake of Bala's (Tamil director) debut movie Sethu (with Vikram)...

So, if I look at Sethu, there may be some plot-points that are similar to Arjun Reddy, but Sethu and Abitha's story takes a completely other route (imo, a better story even than Arjun Reddy).

The movie as such is neither toxic nor problematic...and the center is how loving someone honestly can change a man and also determine a life.

Well, I suppose that Tere Naam/Salman have the same story and developpment.

Yes, it's a problem film, but not problematic...and certainly not toxic.

Sethu's behaviour was clearly showcased as problematic but his love had been genuine, not toxic...and it had been his friends and his love and Abitha who made him reflect about his behaviour and changing it...not to please her but because he learned.

Sethu reminded me films from the James Dean times and the young Kevin Bacon & Co

Dharmendra even changed his and Hema's religion and they both became Muslims TEMPORARILY to be able to get married to 2 women at the same time... only to revert back to be a hindu later on, as per his convenience.
