I think, especially as an audience, what really is bugging all of us, is that fake shaadi, cos it ain't looking fake from any angle :P

And i guess as an ITV audience, we are also attuned to having such tricks like contract marriage/ fake marriage being pulled off, when we know that those two folks will end up falling in love..

dadi villainous move to force Agastya for marriage, doppelganger and Agasthya fake death all could have been enjoyable and generated angst if this marriage was never shown. At the moment the feeling is like wish Imlie had never met a person called Agastya Singh Chaudhary in her life ever

Agastya was a lovable character…with all his flaws he was a great guy…💔so it’s sad to see him die. But for the show it makes sense..agastyas whole family and the village scenario is a bore now., they’ve exhausted agastyas family. They won’t be missed. Imlie needs a whole redo.. she comes from a rich upper class city family..she needs to reconnect with them and pursue a proper singing career..not just sing for drunk men. Imlie season 3 is an original show having no connections with Imlie2. They have cut off all connections from previous gen and that's why they made Imlie orphan in this season with no guardian from previous season. They treat this season as love story of Imlie Agasthya in rural setup

Regarding the city set up and Imlie being rich, it also can't happen. The show runs on extremely low budget so much so that leads have to often repeat costumes every alternate episode. Can't reboot whole set up. The financial cost will be too high with no guarantee of profit

No need to bring Mhrw here lol. Imlie only gets trp because of it slot. Put the show at 6.30 and then we can see if it gets the same trp as mhrw got at that slot or not. Can't believe you being a mhrw or saishi fans is saying this.
