Swinging would have been him being in a real marriage and being involved with Ruhi at the same time. And Ruhi isn't a 2 year old that "Armaan is leading her and she gets lead on". He has time and again told Ruhi to maintain distance. Again he hasn't been quite assertive in his tone. He gets guilt tripped easily. Armaan is literally the same with Dadisa. But no one questions that because her actions aren't immoral.

So it's deal marriage excuse now. Just like Abhira said at least for one year be it fake or real they are husband and wife. They are married legally for now and even family believes that they are a couple. So he has to deal with with it for at least an year. Whether he'll respond to Ruhi's advances or not it's upto him but at least he should wait for their deal marriage to end and then do whatever he wants

Right now, he has attention from 2 women soon 1 bhi nahi rahegi. And jo dialogue aaj bola regarding pyar aankhon ke saamne hoke bhi na mil pana, he will relive it once again
