I agree, he has deffo been happier with Aish and partially that has been bec Aish has been very giving in this relationship. From what I have seem I cannot fault her as a wife.

thats because karishma was already established and successful actress while he was a newcomer.
When Aish and him started dating, he already had few hits.

For a man like him, its not easy to stand behind his successful partner. His insecurities have always been there.

hmm I wonder if it has to do with his parents. I think his debut was great and he had the potential to do so much but he always said he can never come close to his parents.

True having very successful parents and then working in the same field and not even making an effort to improve wis the worst.

Karishma was a star and more successful than Abhishek.

Tbh Abhishek actually worked hard on his choices and actually made an effort after his break up with her and finally saw success till Guru.

Once Guru released and then he got married, he again seemed to lose interest in working hard on his movies.

He is talented but too lazy and does not work hard.

Yes I agree Abhishek has worked very hard and he got his rewards too. But somewhere he got fed up and became lazy. I thought we would see him and Ash more on the big screen, but they did not sign a single movie together nor any advertisement. I just find this so strange. I mean they were a big brand when they both were married. I remember Ash giving her first interview after she was married to Abhishek, the reporter asked if they had arguments and her response was yes on silly things all the time. Jaya on the podcast mentioned how Abhishek always wanted a wife who stays home. Somewhere Abhishek thought Ash would become a stay home mom. I wish she would do more movies, even as a producer. But i do no’t see that coming and maybe she has no interest. She herself admits that she refused Happy New Year because she was not opposite Abhishek.

He had comparisons with his parents on a professional level and then he always had comparisons with his sister at home. Then he married Ash, and the comparison never stopped. I think he took out his personal frustration on Ash in front of the media. That really caused a lot of problems. Because Ash was dealing with her own problems. I think he only works in movies to get appreciation from his parents. But he could have achieved so much if he really invested in his career. From what I understood he does not like competition and that is why he loves his sports team.
