Yep. I agree. I felt this end justified the whole show for me and all the issues I had with it. Because everyone’s ending followed LOGIC.

I really liked this script

Showed the elite class with all their colors but with realistic negativity and toxicity

They showed 2 business tycoon fathers very different

Showed 2 sets of siblings .....very different but real

I m saying people posting on YT ....do rich kids are ever like Zaid or Kashmala

And I m so glad Zanzabeel showed all rich kids aren't spoilt brats through Zaid and Kashmaala

Both the fathers were grey but not evil or characterless

All very 4 different female characters we are around us everyday

Wish someone else played Ayra then she would have been a bomb character...big bang should get over Akizey Daniel

Wahaj underplayed Zaid but showed his mettle and emotions when needed

Ayeza was just OUTSTANDING as MJ ....the last scene with minimal make up with Zaid was so beautifully played by both Wahaj and Ayeza

With their eyes they showed how much they like each other but how they know things can't go back to where it was

The MJ Zaid flashback with the tripping scene had a throbbing pain in my heart .....when MJ told him she can stay with him forever at turkey and he takes it so normally as if yes of course they will be...just the care with which he asks her to take off her shoes and held her hand and they both to the hotel with him carrying the shoes in his other hand was so well shot with unnecessary romanticism yet it was so romantic

People are fighting here over team Zaid vs ayra vs MJ...arguing who deserved a fairer end

But in the end I felt for everyone

The 2 fathers Ayra Kashmala Zaid MJ

They all deserved a better end

They could have wrapped it up in 25 epis and make it a slick show

I don't understand why they can't go back...they didn't lose a loved one...anyway ... there's nothing really lost between them other than Zaid needs some time and of course he lost his father - which is huge for him.

I liked how they handled the family scene at the end ..the shock, trying to justify Rayaan must have blabbered something that was not true etc.

I liked the end but wish there was a proper plot, execution and cktr arc behind it.

All three were in their marriages for the wrong reasons - not for love - and I liked that instead of the ghissa pita message ke compromise karlo adjust karlo, they showed these people walking away instead of holding onto and investing anymore time in these futile, toxic relationships.

I wish the message about Mein as inner sukoon and self respect vs Mein as ego and insecurity was sharper. How one leaves you alone but at peace and on path to healing while the other leaves you alone but bitter and full of regrets.

There was an interesting theme in there somewhere which never came to fruition. The biggest disservice they did was marketing it as MJ-Zaid love story coz that set up people's expectations, so much so that people were no longer judging or speculating about Mein based on what is shown but instead based on what they imagined they were sold.

One shot solution to pesky writing problems- bring something so big that everything else you showed for 30 episodes gets swept under the rug

That was my entire problem with the sexual assault angle. Now none of the above points will be addressed.

Also Kashmala was the one who wanted to marry Rayaan and set all this in motion. Voh bhi Asif pe chillake chal di.

And speaking of Rayaan...he was treated like the spare by Jaffar at numerous occasions. Instead of there being a confrontation scene between him and MJ/Jaffar and resolve that, they conveniently made him the villain.

What was that???? Ayra stopped loving Zaid the day her brother died, fair enough. I don’t understand why she agreed to marry him especially based on her weird terms. She asked for the 5 crores as a test? She asked for the room as a test? He broke her trust at that time. How? She doesn’t see that it was unreasonable? Why didn’t she just marry him when he was out of the house and he was going to divorce MJ? By forcing him back into the house with having another wife, it comes with its own set of conditions. It’s not reasonable for her to demand the room from MJ and then act like a Zaid broke her trust.

Are they all divorced or is the end open? Did Zaid sign the papers?

Her feelings for him apparently hit the brakes when her brother passed. So y did she marry Zaid and throw three lives into a tailspin? It’s not like someone held her at gunpoint, right? While she may not be after his wealth and is perceived as upright and honest, did she even actively try to make this relationship thrive?

I don't rely on the author's words; my grasp of a character is solely shaped by how they act and interact with me.In my book, Ayra’s got this passive narcissist vibe going on and she is as unyielding as a brick wall. *** This is my take on her even before the whole Rayyan—Ayra episode played out.

Everyone is grey in this drama so there’s no point talking about the morality(or the degree of it) of the characters. For me,Mein was always about these relationships n how Mein impacted them!

At its core, marriage is a 2-player game but she was doing her own single-player campaign! Good that they dissolved this marriage!
