Yep, this harassment case was actually her golden chance at redemption but she didn’t avail it. Instead she made it about her insecurity about her marriage. She specifically told Rayyan that this assault thing better not ruin her relationship and that he best pray Zaid doesn’t find any evidence.

So there you go… Zaid is justified in not trusting her. She wasn’t directly involved in the assault but she refused to gain his trust and be his ally during this. She was too busy making the situation about herself instead of doing some truth sharing

Zaid ko Ghanta pharak padhta hai Mubashira ki redemption se... Had ayra told him to leave Mubashira and come stay in her house he would have dumped Mubashira asap.. Her saying or not saying anything wouldn't have made any difference to how zaid treated her

One shot solution to pesky writing problems- bring something so big that everything else you showed for 30 episodes gets swept under the rug

I don't understand why everyone had been saying why Wahaj and Ayeza chose this script

I really liked this script

Showed the elite class with all their colors but with realistic negativity and toxicity

They showed 2 business tycoon fathers very different

Showed 2 sets of siblings .....very different but real

I m saying people posting on YT ....do rich kids are ever like Zaid or Kashmala

And I m so glad Zanzabeel showed all rich kids aren't spoilt brats through Zaid and Kashmaala

Both the fathers were grey but not evil or characterless

Wahaj underplayed Zaid but showed his mettle and emotions when needed

Ayeza was just OUTSTANDING as MJ ....the last scene with minimal make up with Zaid was so beautifully played by both Wahaj and Ayeza

With their eyes they showed how much they like each other but how they know things can't go back to where it was

The MJ Zaid flashback with the tripping scene had a throbbing pain in my heart .....when MJ told him she can stay with him forever at turkey and he takes it so normally as if yes of course they will be...just the care with which he asks her to take off her shoes and held her hand and they both to the hotel with him carrying the shoes in his other hand was so well shot with unnecessary romanticism yet it was so romantic

People are fighting here over team Zaid vs ayra vs MJ...arguing who deserved a fairer end

But in the end I felt for everyone

The 2 fathers Ayra Kashmala Zaid MJ

They all deserved a better end

They could have wrapped it up in 25 epis and make it a slick show

haha maybe. But MJ had ample time na to build that trust but she didn’t. She could have come clean about Ayra’s contract and getting her fired but she didn’t. Also, that scene of Zaid after Ayra gets home. When he sees her through the big window - that glare… he knew MJ was up to something. And he didn’t like it.

So trust was always a big big issue for them. As well as the moral compass thing. MJ ki conscience was always a big question mark. During Ayra’s previous harassment and this current one too. If not winning his trust, for the audience at least it would have been nice if she had gotten some redemption.
