But Zaid not believing MJ even in the last episode was really sad. If not anything they had at least become confidants right..Zaid doesn't deserve either and that's what he got but they should have showed MJ picking up from there and getting stronger and happier.

I am watching another good drama right now, it helped me get over Mein because the hero there is so yum. I am in his jealousy phase right now and he is acting like a baby girl lol

Last but not the least, a hint of divorce was there in Ary's post "Mubashira Jaffer and Zaid Shahwani's story coming to an end"

Mubashira never became Shahwani or Zaid's wife

What is Khula? Can Zaid refuse to sign? I read it is wife's right so if he can refuse to sign then MJ and Zaid didn't get divorce either

MJ gives Zaid khula ke paper and says meri Mein mat tootnay dena.

This means she did not want him to give divorce but for her to divorce him. khula is when the woman initiates divorce. talaq is when the man gives divorce. Her Mein demanded that she be the one to leave him.

Zaid is a gentleman as MJ has said herself so he would have signed the papers.

So they do get divorced but it is MJ who divorces him.

@bold: I wanted the same but I don't think that was possible given how MJ's entire story was focussed on wanting to keep Zaid with her. There was no arc of her trying to get over the entire "I can make a marriage work". Plus she fell for him. Hence her being happy couldn't be in the finale.
