The movie is what it is because of Vanga and both Ranbir, Bobby got accolades for their acting but only Ranbir gets the award. Rocky Aur Rani was literally carried by Ranveer but Alia was the one who gets the award. Dono Mia biwi package deal leliya hai Filmfare se lagta hai. No wonder they are getting dragged through the dirt for this feat.

Considering the movie is on the father theme..he thanked his father and his daughter. I think that's the reasoning behind this.

I was thinking the same thing!

You know you're allowed to thank more than 3 people for an award. There's no set limit. He could have taken both Alia and Neetu' name. Alia must be fuming that he left her out.
