May I suggest something a more scandalous? Abhira getting shot just below the diaphragm. Once discharged she would need to dress the wound everyday. Guess who'll help her out? Given that Armaan is pretty aware of Abhira's love for Ruhi he won't ask her help. He can't ask anyone else's as the family would grow suspicious about their marriage.

Not necessary. They have already deviated from Ghum. There the FL was aware of the resort wala pyaar since the beginning. Here Abhira would come to know much later and the dynamics are about to change because of that. Moreover, Yuvraj has come way early in yrkkh whereas in Ghum the villain came when didi's husband had returned and ended up getting by the villain. The basic premise is same but rishta is going on a different route. Moreover, this triangle won't run for long in rishta.

Yes, lost ka basic premise was only triangle, whereas rishta thats not the case
