I was half hoping the shaadi happens and then the whole truth is out. But nope we stopped at pheres midway so there is no shaadi. Sigh. Definitely there will be no Vishwa - Imlie as hopefully Vishwa will be packed off to jail.

I think Sonali is the one who will investigate the stalker and then when the stalker truth is out then it would be out that Dhanraj and Kairi both died in the accident caused by the stalker. So now we might have Sonali - Amar ka track progression while Agastya and Imlie will have their separation. When the stalker track is all resolved then it maybe we will get Agastya - Imlie ka shaadi. I feel Agastya dressing up as a police officer might be to investigate the whole stalker thing with Sonali and Amar.

I am here. I believe I need to catch up on a lot. I will watch both episodes and come back

They served the intensity well today. I was half praying that the wedding would happen before Chutki reached the mandap. The way Agastya and Imlie were looking at eachother during the pheres, their eyes were full of love.

I’m glad Mama and Mami were brought back for the wedding. The actress who plays Pallo Mami has such a beautiful screen presence, her voice carried so much venom like wow. Now this is how you deliver vampy dialogues. Bulbul’s actress, Mahima, has also been pulling her scenes so well. I hope they keep them around with the separation. I’d much rather talented actresses like them instead of the revenge family.

Imlie, Agastya and the Chaudhary’d barely had time to settle into the shock of Dhanraj and Kairi’s situation, like what a sadka. They’ve known Imlie for so many months yet Dadi believed Vishwa’s story so fast. I’m glad Imlie gave it back to them and brought up how they left her sister to die. The shame in their eyes showed how she was right, that is one sin they committed in their anger. It’s so hypocritical for them to forget that Kairi also died that day and that they’re partially responsible for it.

Imlie has slapped Agastya in the past, twice before actually, yet this time it had such a big impact. Previously, it was in private and it was after he said some vile thing to her during one of their misunderstanding. But this time around, it’s in front of the entire family at their wedding altar. I’d never encourage physical violence but this is ITV so it’s kind of normalized and to be fair she did warn them not to speak ill of Kairi. It’s still kind of crazy that she raised her hands on him, in the real world, it would definitely qualify as domestic violence. It changes the entire mood of the scene and they actually left us on that cliffhanger. This was more drama than even Vishwa expected, hate that his plan was more successful than he anticipated.

Now I understand why Dadi asked Agastya to marry someone else, Vishwa’s story fed her pain in a way where she actually believes Imlie will be her Gattu’s end. I don’t think Agastya will be in a rush to marry someone else unless they actually do a leap, I’d imagine that the family would put pressure on him at that point. He clearly was ready to go back to Imlie before Dadi’s health was at risk. Let’s see how we get to the events of the precap.

Adrija posted a BTS of her with Sanjana, who plays Chutki. Imlie was dressed up in one of her regular sharees but her hair was straight instead of curly. Maybe they’re using the change in style to show a leap of a few months or something. Or maybe it’s a random stylistic choice and I’m just over thinking it lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A short take on Sunday's episode before I watch Monday's.

Wow I loved the wedding outfits. I would personally never chose dark shades but boy both of them pulled it off. Given that we knew what was coming, the scenes between Imlie and Agastya at the haldi were so much more emotional. I am glad the truth that Agasty is Caichu is out which was good. I felt bad when Imlie was praising this family to Ashu. I hope the things she said eventually do come true and both of them are accepted by this family.

Bulbul was really good and her scene with Shivani was nice. I was not able to actually at that point decide who to side with. I could actually understand both their point of views and would never be able to decide which side was right.

Loved the scene between Sonali and Imlie and Agastya and Karan/ Chachu when they dressed up - nice use of the song as always (both did bring bahar in each other's life).

On a side note, I believe Agastya in police avtaar will go and try to investigate the stalker truth. They need to get to the root of who the stalker is. Imlie ki life is still at risk and Agastya cannot let her leave his side.

This reminded me of something from IPKKND, another of Gul’s show, in that one the father was also dead. The ML was the legitimate child of the family though. His mother killed herself after learning of his father’s betrayal. He grew up resenting his father so hard that he even changed his surname to his mother’s maiden name. Right before the wedding, he learnt that the FL’s adoptive mother (who’s also her maternal aunt) was the woman his father had the affair with. He was on his way to the venue when he got the news, full sadka moment. It took him a while to process it and by the time that he arrived to the altar, all the guest had left. The marriage still happened because he remembered something his mother said to him in his childhood.

Something along the line of “You can’t punish the rose for the pain caused by the thorns” basically.

Imlie is that rose, who unfortunately keeps getting punished for the pain caused by the thorns. Meera and Kairi never meant to intentially hurt the Chaudhary’s. But it is so unfair that Imlie has to suffer the consequences of their life’s choices. It was them who fell in love with Kunal and Dhanraj, respectively. The men are obviously to blame here as well. But no one holds them accountable in their own story.

The ML in Gul’s other show was able to acknowledge the mistake of his father. Agastya has yet to reach that point. Imlie’s Kakima is his own biological mother, yet he didn’t even allow himself to believe her to be a victim of his father’s decision, not even for a second. Dhanraj was the first to show him kindness in that household, his love for him is making him look at Kairi as the villain. Both Chaudhary men get infantilized as these innocent creatures who were trapped and lured by these greedy women. In all of that, what’s Imlie’s mistake?

At least, she’s the kind to fight back and not just cry in a corner. The Chaudhary’s are wounded and they never allow themself to heal. Blinded by their own pain, they are incapable of seeing that Imlie has wounds of her own. They are so quick to shift their anger towards her.

Also I really hope this entire situation doesn’t give room for Vishwa to harass Imlie physically, I’d rather another attack from the masked killer instead.

Oh my god the episode served and served really well despite Agastya imlie not marrying each other. I would say this is one of the rare shows where we audience shouldn't feel much sadness because leads didn’t marry despite everything in their favor because this aadha adhura shadi will only increase their love and tadap for each other

This well executed drama was what missing in last separation track and meera track. Team really up their game

Aashu was a cutie for not spoiling her imma and Agasthya happiness and how cutely he said that both should always be happy. Itni samaj ek bache hai jo shivani mein nahi dikhi aaj

Nice to see mama Mami back. They may have changed the care taker role of imlie kairi from mama Mami to meera but I couldn't never connect with it. For me the first guardian of them will always be mama

Imlie ka original song play hua and it was true to the theme of Desi and authentic. The pheras and mantras were so visually pleasing. Sai Adrija looked heavenly gorgeous doing the pheras. Take a bow cinematography team

What a nail biting episode this was! I don't know what to say quite frankly.

Kind of upset that they didn't get to complete the pheras and the shaadi. Happy the team did not show Ashu around when the whole tamasha happened (hate when child actors are exposed to such chillam chilli scenes). The sequence of Shivani running to reach the mandap was well shot, the house is beautiful and was well utilized.

I am shocked the family chose to believe Vishwa's words when they know he wants revenge. Imlie correctly pointed out that Vishwa has never met Kairi and still they are choosing to trust his words over hers. However, I can also understand why the family did not trust Imlie - there is way too much coincidence with Meera connection and Kairi connection.

Anyway, I felt Imlie should have been more angry at the family after the truth disclosure (not because they didn't accept Kairi as their DIL but because they left her to die). She should have been the one putting allegations rather than defending herself.

The family should be ashamed that they left Kairi to die just because they hated her. Agastya the idiot literally thought he can character assassinate her dead sister and she will silently take the shit. He deserved that slap for sure. Not sure how things can be get better after the truth reveal as well. They will never be able to prove that Kairi was not a gold digger and that both really loved each other. Why will Imlie ever forgive this family who left her sister to die (may be she could have been alive had they taken her to the hospital on time?). Despite everything, the one universal truth is that Agastya and Imlie only love each other. They will take time to overcome this but they will!

I hated to see Vishwa give a false narrative to the family and gloat when Agastya and Imlie had a showdown. I wanted to get into the screen and punch his face. He is never going to get the love of Imlie after the stunt he pulled (he is making bigger and bigger mistakes every time). Once the stalker truth is out, he will be really miserable (I hope he is first arrested for his crime of kidnapping Imlie and then he goes mental with the stalker reveal because he literally spent his whole life seeking revenge on the wrong person and took such extreme steps).

Now coming to drama side which is necessary for TRPs

I felt sad for Bulbul because all her efforts went in vain. Her failure and fear was clearly visible on her face when Shivani revealed everything to dadi maa . I felt even sad for whole family . Everyone was damn happy witnessing the wedding and ashu how happy he looked showering flowers on the couple. But everything got destroyed

Shivani became unintentional villain in the eyes of audience for revealing the truth to dadi Maa. She should have shown little bit maturity. Imlie ne hamesha uska Acha kiya , why couldn't she keep her mouth shut for sometime.

Vishwa actor was doing overacting in the scene. His excessive body movements were irritating but I must appreciate creative team for weaving meera story to trap Imlie.

Dadi not believing Imlie despite her doing so much for family felt irrational but I can tolerate it as it's just for drama and trps.

Good thing was that Dadi ,Agasthya had little bit shame when imlie revealed that they left a dying girl on road. Where was their humanity

So Agastya got slapped after a long time. The last time it was in bar probably when they both had no strong emotions towards each other but this time the situation is different. I still believe Agastya won't take this slap to his heart. He would still care for Imlie

Kunal and Dhanraj both died after they fell in love with Meera/ Kairi respectively and Agastya may meet the same fate which is what Dadi fears (specially in light of the prediction by the fortune teller). From Chaudhary fam perspective, the coincidences were way too many and it was easier to believe Vishwa's words that Imlie was indeed out to trap Agastya on Meera's insistence. I was glad Sonali pointed out that Imlie was unaware of the truth and is equally shocked.

I doubt Imlie will let Vishwa near her anymore. He is again and again causing a lot of issues to her. After the kidnap incidence, whatever little sympathy she may have had for Vishwa (cos of the loss he suffered as a child or whatever) is definitely out of the window.
