Charu needs some information about a veteran lawyer. She is planning to visit Poddar firm without anyone noticing. No one knows Charu works for Dev's firm. If Charu ends up giving up some vital client information to Dev which only Poddar's were aware of then Abhira would be blamed as she works in Dev's firm.
