Regarding zaid, I felt she didn't properly answer the questions asked about him, even wrt to wahaj when she was asked about his performance in fitoor and here she ghumaoed her answer and bought ayeza and asif styling in that..I don't know why she did that, she even praised bilal yumna ushna but didnt say a word about wahaj..I think whatever she visioned about him wasn't brought onscreen so she seemed upset about it.

She trusts him - that’s why she kept the Rayyan thing to herself when he requested it - rather than blowing that up in MJ’s face or anyone else’s. But he didn’t uphold her trust in him regarding that. He didn’t handle that right

So the trust is there - but sometimes other influences play a factor in decisions as well.

Ayra coming to Shahwani house where everyone hated her was reiterated by 2 people close to her in last episode, there was a dialogue of Ayra to her bhabhi that she'll fight everyone as long as Zaid loves her, she was staying in that house where everyone hated her, she wasn't like simpering misses who'd tolerate abuse and cry in a corner. She took both MJ and Asif head on but was no match for them and conceded defeat in last week's episode and refused to go back to that house.

It was her trust in Zaid which brought her to the house after sexual assault but he didn't trust her. Which woman would be happy that her husband thinks that there's a possibility of his wife lying about sexual assault? It was her self respect which didn't allow her to accept crumbs from Zaid, she gave him ample time when Rayyan made first attempt but Zaid did nothing, there were 3 attempts on her. A woman is supposed to accept crumbs in name of love, put herself on the line, perhaps she would have stayed and Rayyan would have finished the job when MJ invited him for dinner.

Zaid was asking her to stay at a place and trust him when his family is casually having dinners with the man who assaulted her, surrounded by people who'd let Rayyan do as they want as long as it doesn't affect them. These are sick sick sick people

Leave it , they made a maha kichidi of the show. They made it for TRP and hold time slot .
The moment writer said the Zaid - MJ Turkey dialogue was slip of tongue I was like huh ????? Nobody like nobody in show were /are on same page , writers visions and characters were in Venus , Badar was on mars while actors were in imaginary Turkey , so nothing was making sense while we all are 5 DT trying to find logic .

I seriously hope W signs projects with tighter scripts.
Also Wahaj - Ayeza deserve a good show , they were absolutely wasted in this project.

The reason for all these different interpretations of the same characters/scenes is clearly as @winterberry says is because the director, writer and actor had a different ideas of the story is. There was no clear vision or direction so everybody took what they wanted to see as fact. No point debating why any one character behaved the way they did.
