And the actor playing Tejas also acts well. From a well known hero in Bengali serials to villain here.

in the og Ani jhk divorce and Ani marries Arshi due to scheming by Bipasha and Arshi but all that comes later on, after Ani starts liking Jhk and in the og the family knows they are married and slowly she wins them over.
As you said their relationship has not even started, the family doesn’t know they are married and the leads haven’t even been shown having feelings for each other.
