I get your point. But,
I beg to differ.
This kind of excessive obsession should not be justified with depression.
She needs to face it, it's wrong she can't just get away with being depressed and be a bechari. Also she is not the only one with the traumatic past. Clearly Abhira suffered more. These situations most of the time makes you want to be stronger to not to suffer in a similar away in the hands of kismat.
Ruhi is just not relatable even with her share of pain, with whatever she is doing now.
People with depression seeks therapy to be real and to not become delusional and have self pity party after doing all that she is doing.
Or maybe I don't agree because I am timid, I know my pain, aware of my depression pattern but am too strong to not let myself become bechari in the name of depression.
Whatever it is Ruhi is not being a likable character. Chah ke bhi I am unable to pity her.
I would disagree with this. Abhira had only seen her mother all her life. She lost her only support. Her loss was a grave one. Agreed. But in no way she suffered more than Ruhi.
Here Ruhi's childhood was filled with trauma. To begin with like Abhira she never met her father. She lost her mother, then poppy and later on her dida the paternal side of her family turned their back at her. On top of that she believes her maasi whom she loved dearly killed her mother. Abhir her cousin with whom she bonded so well was also gone. When you have so many close beautiful relations and everyone either leaves you lets you down you grow into a very insecure person. Ruhi should have been given therapy lessons or counselling in her childhood. In my view Ruhi's loss is far more greater than any character in this generation.
P.S. Mods please don't come at me. This is a discussion that talks about Ruhi's loss which is why she resorted to delusions.
P.S. I'll edit this post later.
How do you even know a depressed person doesn't wallow in self-pity? Abhira's traumatic past is more than Ruhi's, lmao asf l. Like, can trauma even be measured? Her trauma is greater than his/hers? Trauma can't be measured, period.

Depressed people do often get stuck in self-pity, delusionalness, and a self-victim state. I'm saying this from knowing someone, anyway, cutting to the chase. Even with real therapy, depressed people relapse countless times, struggle a lot, make bad decisions, and self-harm often. Not saying they can't get better, they do. But saying Ruhi's trauma isn't great, but Abhira's is? How? Ruhi lost her mom, her dad, her dad-like figure. Isn't that trauma for a seven-year-old? Abhira lost her mom, her only family, her only support system. Both are big, life-changing incidents for them, and both have their impact. What we can call Ruhi out on is her doing EMA with Armaan, which is morally wrong. But saying ohh her trauma isn't so great but Abhira's is 💀🤡

Ya that's the reason we all understand her issues.
She had a difficult childhood. And they will sort this out. In between abhira and ruhi ki fight sis fights bi dikhani ki koshish chl rhi hai in a cute and normal sense other than armaan equations with both
So they will deal with ruhi later on. Bt my heart 💔 for our ruhi, ignoring her obsession with her jethji.
This was the only good part of the episode.. and I am glad they are nudging their partners … Vidya got the hint finally and went to check on Ruhi n Armaan …
even cousins bonding was good .. though I did not like why Abhira had to jump in to organise dadi ki party .. she could have supported Chachi.. that was good .. but backed out tactfully .. and told Ruhi is the best she and Armaan can plan the party together .. since today is my free day .. let me go teach krish driving lessons properly.. I will keep him and the car safe
Let Armaan n Ruhi make Rajasthani food … tell them since she’s not Rajasthani she does not know how to cook all this gatta chawal
