She has changed, but he won't trust her. The situation is vastly different. Then she had a goal, now she's truly in love...this is exactly where Badar wanted them. He has been judgemental about her right from the beginning...even then he used to pause, melt...maintaining his distance ❤️...it's time for him to walk towards her. This is the phase in the OST where he's disappointedly flicking the grass or whatever...with his back towards her and MJ at the window, looking at him sadly.

He has told her quite clearly he doesn't trust her and now with the truth out in the open, she will let him go...she won't keep him tied to her anymore.

Why did they take 2 routes to disclose the truth, I wonder. Guess they wanted Zaid to investigate and find for himself and for Kash to find by herself to be convinced.

It sounds like he trusts her and knows he let her down but he feels he needs solid proof to go after Rayyan and Asif. I think it’s beyond just a confrontation (with Rayyan at least) and for that he needs some proof. I can actually see here how he is torn for Kashmala’s sake too. He doesn’t know that she’s already learned the truth and has made the right decision. Also believing that his father locked up Ayra is probably disturbing enough but does he want to believe that his father is capable of covering up the sexual assault attempt by Rayyan? He needs solid proof to tackle everyone.

I'm ok with him taking his time. Ayra didn't have to walk out in a huff. She needed to give him time when he said if...he didn't say never...she should respect his circumstances too....instead it's all about her her her as usual. 🙏 Mein mein mein...no louder mein than this I hear in this show...🤭

She’s totally justified in her disappointment with him because as her husband he SHOULD believe her and not say words like “if” this happened. He was totally wrong in that scene and even he realised that later. But it makes sense because Zaid is a flawed and weak man who doesn’t always do the right thing the first time. He has failed her and he knows it. Also the “if/agar” doesn’t even make sense logically because

1. Ayra has told him before about Rayyan. This is not brand new information for him

2. He knows Asif’s history with Ayra and his hate for her

3. He hadn’t called Bhabhi to double check Asif’s statement on the phone. Even now all he had to do was call Bhabhi and ask her when Ayra got there and in which condition

He didn’t have to really do an investigation. The hidden evidence is proof enough that his dad in involved and so is Rayyan because something is being covered up. Can’t get more obvious than this.

im assuming all this official investigation is just so Rayyan can go to jail eventually. Let’s see if it happens. But his “agar” to Ayra was just a dumb thing to say lol

She can write whatever she wants na. Badar will go according to what he envisioned. He just got her to fill in the blanks because he was too lazy to write the whole story.

Seriously...through the whole drama, Ayra's mein is the most subtle, yet loudest.

Asif and MJ are barking dogs. They won't bite Zaid.

Yep. Her categories seem pretty clear. Zaid and Ayra are the good ones who are wronged and Asif and MJ are the ones with Mein who are the conspiring ones.

When talking about Ayra and MJ and when Amina mentioned how both might leave zaid - Zanjabeel said something like for one it might be a relief and for the other a punishment.

I’m guessing relief for Ayra and punishment for MJ ?
And also maybe Zaid too? For being left all alone?

She also brought up Zaid possibly leaving Asif which again means it’s either Zaid alone at the end or with Ayra.

Idk I feel the whole “Ayra still loves you” was emphasised for a reason last episode. Maybe she’ll forgive this doofus husband after all

Official investigation is so he can punch Rayaan and give the audience a hero moment. May be he will go to jail. I doubt it since Zaid is conducting the investigation and delivering the verdict through special channel. All this is to show angry young man vindicating his wife.

Something has to come from Ayra too. In the entire drama I can't think of a single scene where she has selflessly done anything for Zaid. Even the way she married him was all wrong.

His agar magar is just him taking it slow rather than enrage Kash who was demanding justice. He needs to gather evidence to convince her too. Ayra should understand that bond he has with his sister. She has walked into his life and alienated his first wife and rest of family from him before this climax even started. This, despite bhaabhi's best advice. Zaid is going to be there, so is Rayaan and proof...she should have trusted Zaid to do it his way. At least when he realised his mistake, she should be understanding...that would be love. Anyway he is understanding enough to give her time...out of love or guilt or whatever...he keeps giving there.

And I don't think Ayra or Asif or MJ has told him about the marriage drama she created around Asif-... Zaid still thinks some fool came to blackmail his father. Not that it will make any difference to him.

Ayra still loves you is bhaabhi's blind belief. She doesn't know Ayra at all. Ayra throwing the ring is symbolic of the relationship ending.

Ayra will not forgive unconditionally - it's not in her. She will keep a condition...just like Asif did. Zaid has to choose.

If Ayra leaves Zaid it will be relief for her because she never really loved him.

If MJ leaves Zaid it will be punishment for her because she actually loves him.

You’re expecting a woman who’s just been assaulted in her husbands home to act rationally. For any wife the bare minimum in such a moment is blind trust that yes this happened. Husband shouldn’t say if this happened he should say , “tell me exactly what happened” - that’s the normal response. But yes I guess you’re right that he wanted to pace himself but Ayra was too worked up to just wait around for evidence. She wanted her word to be enough. She’s not wrong for expecting that. Trust is important after all. Which zaid has for her , it’s just that he didn’t say the right thing at the right time and it hurt her. She’s getting the time she wants to process it so that’s fine.

As for what Ayra has done for him, Bhabhi’s scene made that quite obvious. She kept him close to his family by moving there even though all of them were her enemies. Remember at one point when Ayra wanted to live separately? Eventually she compromised on that too. You can’t really compare her level of giving to Zaid’s because she’s had a dark history with that place and he hasn’t. She has a lot of baggage which he doesn’t. If she gets difficult it’s because of her insecurities in that place and how she’s coping with it. Ultimately she’s not the one who is planning to kick MJ out, it’s MJ who wants to kick Ayra out. It comes down to that.

You’re right about the hero moment. I guess they wanted to milk Zaid’s scenes a bit to reach to that climactic point. Which will then bring about the closures.

As for the fake wife drama, pretty obviously another Badar plot device to get Ayra into that locked door situation. He clearly wanted to get to the sexual assault scenario which he specially demanded from the writer 🤢 So anything to get there right lol. Also pretty sure zaid wont care even if he finds out. The crimes by the rest far outweigh anything foolish Ayra ever did
