Even in tb murtasim was supposed to slap meerab on many occasions but they removed those scenes and hence it looked that murtu was bearing all of meerabs tantrums while she was being unreasonable

Ye sab wahaj ki karni hai that's why he thinks a good director is more important than the writer/script because then they can make changes according to their understanding of characters and story

I completey agree with you on this point. Why actors try to change their characters. What the logic that we (Actors) can't relate to character how can we do this? Its not actors its characters why they are playing

. If an actor doesn't Like a character just reject the script. Changes important things or scenes ruin all story and characters' characterization. and we can't relate to it as audience.

According to writer many things were changed by Badar just to gain ratings 😣😣if those things were not changed then people would love Zaid

1. Mein was basically Badars brainchild which he requested Zanjabeel to write. He has two scenes in his mind : a guy who on his wedding night informs his wife that he will bring another wife within days. Other scene was of first wife going to FIL and asking him to go and get the rishta for the girl he likes. And also, Badar wanted to add the sexual assault angle and specifically asked for it.

2. This is Zaid’s story - a guy under the shadow of his dad who is a weak man and is unable to do justice to his wives. His Mein is Ayra - for which he left his dad, sister, business, everything. The girl he wants to marry

3. Zaid never had any feelings for MJ. There’s no history. It was just a random improvised scene

4. No consummation between Zaid and MJ. The Turkey scenes were to attract views and ratings, that’s it. To keep people curious.

5. She categorized Asif and MJ in the same as people obsessed with their Meins and people like that do tend to end up alone

6. she agreed with Amina that it makes sense for both women to leave Zaid because he’s been unjust to them

7. She also hinted that Zaid might not even stay with Asif in the end

8. It was quite obvious from her interview that Mein was written just with ratings and views in mind and some scenarios thrown in. She basically created characters around it. This is why it feels like such a khichri. Because Badar had scenes in mind and she built a story around it. Half the time she talked about ratings ratings ratings 🤦🏻‍♀️

9. The sexual assault was Badars idea. So yeah. Hate him. Repeating it because he’s just so gross

10. I just got the sense that it’s a tragedy. People with Meins (Zaid MJ Asif) ending up alone. She didn’t mention Ayra’s Mein. Woh victim hi hai I guess 🤷‍♀️

I think he is just someone who is failing his relationship and she was right at a point where we all expected him to leave everything and do "Ayra Ayra" after harassment lol so her thought process was such that Zaid has to be there for Ayra, Kashmala and his father. He can't just be there for 1 person because it is unnatural.

If it was never meant to be about zaid and mubashiras love story then why the hell they did all those couple photshoots and ost revolving around their characters

If it was done purposely to cash on Wahaj can create chemistry with anyone then they should be fined for false advertisement and fooling the audience.

Also I knew badar purposely added this harassment angle he's obsessed with this track, if not this track the climax would have been different..

Why they promoted it as 2 people's love story then talking about change of story? Then what they were intended to writer?

She should do a chat session and get thrashed by audience.

She was talking about unnatural reactions and she said she had Zaid leave everything for Ayra - when realistically that’s hard to do (you can’t just leave everything). And I thought she was referring to the first 2 times he left everything for Ayra. Not the current scenario. But I might be mistaken.

I thought she was referring to his past actions. She had the hero do something huge because audience wants to see things like that

We were kind of sure that it wasn't a love story with each passing episode.But now we have heard it from the horses mouth.The makers should be sued for false advertisement!

Zanjabeel's all heroes fail their loved ones, Bilal in Balaa couldn't save any of his family members, his 2 sisters died, one was married to Balaa's brother like Kashmala was married to Rayyan, that's why I kept thinking that she'll kill Ayra and Kashmala because her heroes come back to see everyone dead and solve everything in last 2 episodes.

The storyline was about Zaid where Zaid was failing one relationship to balance another, for Kashmala he had to hurt Ayra and the writer said something about how she can't show him leaving everything for Ayra because he has to care about family too.

Also Zaid and Ayra are not the charactera with "Mein" in them

MJ and Asif have "Mein"

If the story was Zaid's toh Zaid ko POV bhi dena tha koi.

But she said that while writing Bashar Momin, Bashar's cktr came to dominate entire script. Same with Asif. Maybe she intended it to be Zaid ki story but Asif ka cktr took over while writing it.
