I don't think Ar-Ru as soulmates is anywhere in picture now. It is not necessary that a person should have a relationship with another to think or dream about him/her. He feels bad or in other way he thinks he is responsible for the mishaps happened in ruhi's life ( which is not true as ruhi and her badi mom are also equally responsible ) He wanted ruhi to stay happy and now she is living a life of lonliness. Today he was not just thinking but dreaming. One does not always need to think romantically about his/her soulmate. If your relationship is so strong that you wake up from sleep then that bond is nothing that can be ignored. Either he takes action to set Ruhi’s life if he really only wants Ruhi’s good which means he has to send her to Goenkas because here she can only be sad. Or if he doesnt want to send her back then we have to assume that he wants to continue taking care of her in all possible ways . In that case why does he want to keep Abhira too? He should clarify everything to Abhira and just request her to stay only as a friend till she graduates. And from my view, staying as friend means not sharing any bed.
Its not him who doesn't want to send her back. Its his family.. And ruhi won't be going back since she is herself in a delusion that armaan will come back to her life.
