There would have been nothing wrong in rk working with vanga if Animal wasn't such a problematic film, as you said, there is women bashing and stuff just for shock value. How about vanga tries to make a film without that stuff, does the male lead need to be so toxic and abusive to the person he says he loves? Violence in movies has always been present, the angry young man has been shown in many movies, but when you bring mysoginy and show vile behaviour from the hero of the film, and try to make it look cool and romantic, thats where the problem is.

Show a negative character, but then present them in a negative light, not as a hero
