The Zaid-MJ scene in last episode was very important. It’s Zaid admitting that he should have never brought Ayra into the house and that’s where it all began. He doesn’t care anymore if Ayra leaves him but it’s his responsibility to ensure that she gets justice.

He’s in no position anymore to expect and make demands from Ayra because of failing her so spectacularly. Due to his own weakness and carelessness. He has flashbacks of Ayra and how he has broken her trust with that “Agar” - he’s proving to her that her trust in him was not unjustified by righting the wrong that’s happened. Whether this will be good enough for Ayra to still stay with him is up to Ayra alone and he has accepted that. He won’t force her like he did last time about marrying him. He’s letting go which is finally him reaching a sensible and mature place about this. He’s not making this about HIMSELF but HER 👏

Whether she will still keep him or leave him is up to her alone

It makes me so sad that there was absolutely no development there. Even in the relationship which she’s changed herself for, the motivation still feels extremely selfish. This ordeal could have been her proving her loyalty trust and love but it amounted to nothing. She was just worried for herself and treating the whole thing casually and telling Zaid to get over it too because nobody knows the truth 🤦🏻‍♀️

This is not how you handle a deeply troubled spouse.

The lack of trust, companionship and support shows their incompatibility at this point. If any rough patch comes up in their future they’ll have to work on themselves a LOT to make this marriage work.

Zaid’s words to MJ have been so significant I feel. To highlight the issues in the dynamic and the lack of trust there.

His taunt to her about her ability to eat in such a situation - Zaid’s moral compass doesn’t allow him to but MJ is not bothered despite the fact that her brother could be guilty

“Mujhe pata nahi tha uss ka muqabla Mubashira Jaffer se hai”

“Ayra ke ilaawa mujhe sab pe doubt hai”

Him staying quiet when bhabhi brought up MJ and Asif, both their roles in plotting against Ayra. Zaid kept quiet “Kya tumhain Mubashira ka pata nahi tha?”

He might not know exactly what MJ has done or was trying to do but he has a fair idea now and suspects her rightfully.

Which makes it even more pathetic how this opportunity was not used to build trust and for MJ to prove zaid and to the audience that she has grown and matured. What. A. Waste.

It ruins the endgame because it didn’t have to be so lamely handled and they could created moments to show some real changes in their dynamic.

Even ayra did all this stuff..I think these two weren't compatible at all...they had different upbringing and were from two different world's, even their food preferences were soo different.

So in my opinion they were just weren't meant to be, also she was directly responsible for getting locked up in her own bedroom, if she would have left for her mayka and wouldnt have provoked asif then all of this wouldn't have happened...sure Rayyan would have tried to harass her some or the other time but then zaid would have been here and I'm sure he'd have been able to handle the situation then..

I blame Maroon's pool drop signature for it which to led to me asking my friend about it.

Why isn't Zaid being blamed for abducting and assaulting Javed? Shouldn't he be in jail for this?
