Only Ayra's guilt tripping works on him With the way he's behaving with MJ right now I don't think she would try this.

The show was never about Zaid-MJ's story. The OST, the few scenes of closeness, friendship etc were thrown in to calm people and convince them that aage kuch acha hoga

When Zaid told MJ that she looked beautiful on their Walima..or the police scene where Zaid asks the police guy to move away from MJ and come and talk to him..the scene where Zaid stays in MJ's room..Turkey scenes..were all done to appease the viewers.

Dialogues were manipulated to create an illusion that Zaid had/has feelings for MJ when that was never the case.

They add nothing to the main plot. Ayra is the main plot and even now she's missing from the posters.

But it would be so nice if Zaid sorts out things with MJ before going to aira , I don’t want him to choose MJ as second option it has to be genuine where he actually wants to try and make things work with her and if he separates with Aira it shld be because he knows he can’t keep her happy .

This show is called Mein for a reason. It’s not going to be a neat and tidy end but a messy one. No way in hell is Zaid going to leave Ayra now after all that’s happened. He’s in no position to make demands of her. She will make the choice for him and close their chapter. She needs a stronger man in her life than Zaid ever was and that house , like she said , would make her end up in a mental asylum lol.

For two flawed people to end up like this makes total sense. MJ has spent her entire marriage being the second option - a humbling down that her character needed - even till now Zaid doesn’t trust her. And his mistrust isn’t misguided - she has been part of that circle around him he was talking about and she was acting against him by trying to get back at Ayra. Took pleasure in her loss. So MJ is not deserving of that kind of end where Zaid chooses her over Ayra. She hasn’t earned it. It’ll be whoever is left to pick up the pieces. It’s enough that she will get the marriage she wanted when zaid refuses to sign the papers. Can’t expect more from him. And she will be more than okay with that.

And Zaid’s humbling will be brought about by Ayra. His Mein of marrying her and being her protector and how gloriously he’s failed at that will be his defeat. So once that chapter is wrapped up, he can go with his tail between his legs and apologise to MJ for never giving her a chance because he was so fixated on his Mein. Lucky for him, MJ will accept him with all that ugly history

So did they just cut out that 5 crores demand from Ayra? Looking at the promo, I can’t see it fitting in.

Finally some sane message. People here are so willing to push all of MJ and Asif’s crimes under the carpet. Zaid and Aira are acting holier than thou because they haven’t committed the kind of mistakes MJ and Asif have. MJ and Asif from start have schemed and now they are hiding Ryan’s truth. Leave that aside MJ herself admitted in an episode that she supported a person who harrased a maid. In case people forget that let me repeat supported a person who harrased a maid . This means she is an immoral person and she is still doing the same by hiding Ryan’s truth. Only thing Zaid has done to MJ is that he isn’t happy in a marriage with MJ which is a fact and he has never lied about it like MJ and Aira has been bitter ever since Asif tormented her brother till death. These are very human emotions. The only stupid scheme Aira did was get Asif’s fake wife that is it. Rest all Aira did was on the face and no schemes. MJ pretended to be ok with 2nd marriage when she was not, planned to separate Aira and Zaid, got all shares so that Aira stops working with Zaid, blackmailed into winning a project and lied to get Aira fired. There is no comparison between what MJ has done and what Aira or Zaid have done.

Zaid is legit restless searching for the truth day and night and begging for it but MJ offers him nothing but normalcy in a situation like this 🤦🏻‍♀️ and to top it off invites her brother to come over for a dinner party. Such a tone deaf response to the whole thing and just thinking about herself. And then she’s like… why doesn’t he trust me. Like girl… this was your chance and you didn’t use it.

So no, an ending where she is the second choice is totally apt. It’s messy but she still gets what she wanted.

I don’t think it was a cut from the current storyline. I think it must be part of one of the many endings they filmed lol

MJ definitely has done some shady, immoral things but that’s how she was shown as from the beginning. I was hoping that she went through some growth and it would be about how she broke her Mein. I honestly thought it was going that direction. Her attitude change seemed fake at the beginning but it started looking more and more authentic as time passed by. I feel like I they kind of threw her under the bus these last few episodes. She showed no remorse or empathy for Ayra which I felt she would have. She was still never as evil as Asif I felt and there was growth in her character unlike Asif.

I agree that Ayra has never been corrupt like Asif and MJ but I can’t say she’s innocent. She said that she was only brought into that house just for the sole purpose of getting rid of her. Agreed, that was their plan. What was Ayra’s motivation though? Did she not want to get rid of MJ too? She couldn’t stand the thought of Zaid talking to MJ. She first demanded the money and wouldn’t go with Zaid until she got it. She started making demands like the room as soon as she moved in. Arguing about whether it was trauma or she needed to secure her bhabi’s financial situation is beside the point because now her motivations are being portrayed as something different. The bhabi said that she only married Zaid because she loved him conveniently forgetting the money she made out of this deal. I’m not saying that she didn’t deserve it after what she had been through but Ayra wasn’t just driven by love.

Zaid said that he needs to fulfill the right of the trust that Ayra placed on him when she decided to live in a place where everyone hates her. It makes it sound like she made that sacrifice so he can be with his family. He left his home for a reason - they don’t like her. If she wanted to marry him just for love like the bhabi said then why insist on his father’s approval and say she doesn’t care if he divorces MJ. She even asked MJ if she’s okay with someone else also calling her husband theirs. Where’s the girl that sacrificed everything for love. That’s not Ayra so why try to portray her that way now? I’m not saying she’s evil but she also not how they are describing her at the moment. She didn’t walk into that house peacefully. She went in with guns blazing as well.

Ayra ain’t a docile girl who would bend over backwards to please people who hate her. She knew she was going into a hostile environment so her stance to maintain some amount of power makes sense. These are the same people who harassed her and make her family suffer. Why should she trust them right. The only person she trusted support from is Zaid and even he said that her bitterness and stance is justified because of her trauma. This was a reactionary Ayra. It’s not in her nature not to fight back. In retrospect, of course she made a mistake of going there but maybe she thought Zaid and his support would be enough. Clearly it wasn’t.

As for the monetary compensation she did that for her bhabhi. Not herself. It’s not based on greed but based on justice for what was done to her family. Blood money is a common thing so that’s the way she closed that chapter of what happened to her brother. We all thought she was going for revenge but she really did just get her bhabhi the money and tried to move on in that house as best as she could or her personality would allow.

Bitterness pettiness and insecurities can’t be labelled as criminal acts. Sure you might not like her but she’s living in a house surrounded by people who hate her and want her out - I was glad zaid and bhabhi both pointed that out. Ayra is strong but no matter how strong you are, your trauma catches up to you especially if you face so many roadblocks. The only thing I really fault her in is the wife scam, which an episode later basically became so lame that it was a joke and only served to set the events in motion that eventually happened there. The writer , even when she made Ayra scheme, made it look so amateurish - how someone who doesn’t know how to scheme would scheme lol. She was not in her element at all. Only took asif one day to bring her down lol

So compared to everyone else Ayra isn’t bad. She just went through a lot and her and Zaid weren’t on the same page on how they could move on from her past. He thought it was best to fit into the family but she knew it would never be possible because they were out to get her. He didn’t see through them but she did. Plus she hadn’t even healed and she moved in with them all. So it was all doomed to begin with. But yeah she definitely didn’t make things easy but given her trauma and mutual hate with Asif, I don’t blame her either.

Given their history she needed a stronger protector than Zaid, who had authority in the house but Zaid isn’t that person. That’s why she ended up taking a lot of things on her own. She couldn’t rely on Zaid who himself relied on MJ and Asif lol. She didn’t want herself to be reliant on them like he was. She’s a much stronger and independent character than Zaid is.

some might take her actions in a bad light but for me it was either her trauma talking or just a reaction from a person who has to look out for herself because her husband is too weak / dependent on others she can’t trust.

Zaid resembles Murtasim... Aira assumed he is Murtasim and fell in love with him there's no other reason for a girl like her to like a man like Zaid
