Still since someone watching it says that the movie has different core elements I guess it’s not debatable, yes it has elements as Top gun, but not bang bang or Pathaan, if it had elements like that off BB and Pathaan, it’d earn better numbers maybe

I understand Pathan being a huge hit, but I’ll never understand the success of Animal , I didn’t realize the movie is so disturbing and bad unless I watched it in Netflix, it had no plot, no build up, nothing, one day Ranbir grows up and just likes people for papa. Atleast show the narrative of how he became so obsessed with papa.

My only fear is after VV and Fighter not doing well in the BO, Hrithik will stop doing films like these, which are different and challenges the actor and do mass films, I hope not. I hope he can bring a balance, he has the aura of doing everything onscreen just hopefully he’ll understand where they faulted with Fighter.

Nah. Don’t blame the Gen Z. They’re awake and totally badass. Love them. When in doubt, blame it on Gen X and the boomers. And the rightwinging millenials (unfortunately). They done fcuked up the world

Maybe people just aren't interested in watching Hrithik Roshan's films. I can speak for myself and honestly I've never watched a Hrithik Roshan film. I've never felt any inclination towards him.

I was watching a video on break up of USSR,corruption, gulags, censorship. So I am always puzzled when RW is abused like this.As if all the dictatorships in history have only been RW.If there has been a hitler, there has also been a Stalin.

In name of liberalism and human rights and anti RW in India, the section of society that has actually been tolerant all along, that does not indulge in genocide, that faces genocide in neighbouring countries is abused(before laughing or disagreeing just search for 5 minutes on Google for some truth).

Anyway OT : Trash does not need one generation to be supported,it has been praised across generations. As a millennial,I wonder how certain 90s movies and stars gained huge fandom.

Fighter lacked good promotion..

After animal released Ranbir n Bobby were still promoting...

Why didn't Hrithik n Deepika did it...

Deepika looked same like she was in pathan. So a different actress should have been casted.

Also songs weren't so good..

Hype is everything

People see movies on Instagram stories and WhatsApp status and they want to witness it themselves on the big screen.

Every movie which worked had a lot of hype, every movie had a badass trailer cut

Pathaan had pre release buzz from months

Jawan was on another level

Animal's trailer cut did 80% work for it before trailer it had around 100k BMS interest which spiked and it took opening of 50cr

After it all movies have same pattern, scenes from cinema hall going viral and people flocking theaters

Gadar 2 had nostalgia factor attached to it so it was a little different in that regard

PS - Pathaan was better than Fighter, the only thing which was better in Fighter was its VFX
