Why Bollywood stopped making erotics?

After 2017-2018, Bollywood doesn’t produce erotic movies anymore. As a result, Emraan Hashmi, Bipasha, KSG, Gurmeet, Zarine and many actors actresses became jobless. Some are doing sidekick roles while others disappeared. Why this content doesn’t work anymore? And what was the purpose of inventing this content if it will stop after few years? What happened to this content?

In erotic movies there was bikini shots, kissing n few sex scenes which is nowadays common in every movie n not a very big deal as it used to be earlier like when murder n jism released .

Cos audience can watch the better version for cheaper price at home on Ullu or Altbalaji.

Then, it must be very sad for Hashmi and Bipasha. I really miss Hashmi.

Bipasha is more than erotica. She has appeared in films like Corporate, Lamhaa, Bachna Ae Haseeno and Choritro Kalponik. Reducing her to just erotica is doing a disservice to her.

As for your favorite, Winget has been jobless since time immemorial after doing an erotica with Kunal Kohli and back-to-back flop shows she resorted to releasing PR articles about getting a movie opposite Kartik Aaryan also backfired.

B-grade films are typically made with low budgets, featuring unknown stars and production houses. KSG's films cannot be considered B-grade because they are backed by renowned production houses like Paramount Pictures and T-Series

Jennifer being more popular and successful is your opinion, but if we look at facts, Qubool Hai was a TRP success, and KSG was paid 80K per episode while Jennifer received 30K per episode for saraswatiC

For Beyhadh 2, she received 1.2-1.4 lakhs per episode, and KSG was paid 3 lakhs per episode for Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. Jennifer has no TV show that was a TRP success; all her shows are TRP flops. Only Code M season one was successful .Code M 2 came and flopped, but Qubool Hai 2.0 was a success.

'Guli Mata' was trending for all the wrong reasons; the main singer and co-star, Saad, was a rape convict, and Jennifer was criticized for working with him while calling herself a feminist.

I think Naaznin hit the nail on the head. Back in the day, erotic scenes were a novelty; even bikini shots were considered a rare sight. But as society modernized, even mainstream films feature erotic elements and revealing outfits.

The widespread access of internet and 5G is another factor. People can now access graphic p0rnography of any flavor on the internet for free in the privacy of their own homes. So there is zero incentive to pay money to go watch a movie and privacy means you can pretend to be innocent in everyday life.

Typically, the most vocally conservative people who engage in moral policing have the most shameful internet history. And the people who appear to be shameless and edgy are vanilla compared to them. Of course, this is a gross generalization and there are exceptions.
