People went to watch because 3 hr 21 film was engaging for them. Not because of some people crying online about few scenes lol. Vanga himself said in Komal interview that he'd pick RK as the best part Animal if he had to choose one thing.

Reason why Sam did average business at BO was because it didn't impress even the critics who loved Raazi. It had 60 lakh footfalls in India and was a flop overseas. While Animal did 540 cr+ nett in India with 3 lakh footfalls and did 30 M overseas.

If Sam had worked with target audience, it would have collected like Raazi, OMG 2 etc. These critics reviews show why. Animal wasn't made to impress such critics anyways, but massive wide audience went to watch it both in India and overseas.

I am going to tell Vikrant, why didnt his movie 12th Fail make 100 crores because his acting was so bad to reach that. No matter hpw everyone has been praising 12th FAIL and his acting. How dare he?!

I am going to tell SRK, him in Pathaan is the GREATEST acting ever seen since it was a blockbuster.

Like your points dont even make sense.

ELITE movies flop everyday, while trash movies make money everyday.

SRK greatest role is in a flop movie called Swades.

Saif one of his greatest role is in a movie called Omkara that was average grosser.

Ajay won NA on a movie called Bhagat Singh which was a flop movie.

PC was incredible in a movie called Mary Kom and did decent in the box office.

Also stop changing the narrative to suit your narrative, a movie like Sam wouldn't have made as much money if it wasnt for Vicky incredible acting. That movie opened average and Vicky role took it into the verdict of a clean hit, a documentary style movie like that.

Ranbir could never do that, he needs masala and misgnonyic movies with Vanga to get hits. TJMM was a average grosser with hit songs and a new pairing with a popular actress.

Alia gave Vicky his first clean hit Raazi in BW. 7.5 cr opening for that film was due to Alia while Vicky was a new comer with no opening pull. Of course wider audience thinks differently from inside rich/lauriesa because they don't have negative obsession towards any actors. They watch films that engage them. And actors will star value usually bring good to great opening day numbers. After weekend, it's about engaging content.

Most critics slammed Sam Bahadur script and documentary style, while Raazi is actually a GREAT script. And even with that Vicky took that movie into a CLEAN hit because of his acting. Apples and oranges situations.

And Vicky gave himself his first clean hit which was Uri as a ML which was a blockbuster, something Alia doesn't have in her filmography. Gangu was the worst box office for a SLB movie in a decade.

RK might be a mega-star after Animal but clubbing Alia with it and writing Megastar Ranbir and Alia to work alongside Vicky is stretching too far. Like both RK and Alia are doing some favour on Vicky.

Vicky being in the movie, the weightage has increased. He is the best actor among those three and Alia the weakest.
