Every law has certain terms & conditions. Toshu can declare he has no ties with his mother which I guess he has done directly indirectly.

I hope they go as a united front to receive free service from their unpaid maid. They need to sort out their own differences first though that'll happen instantly as soon as they see the unpaid maid.
