The movie should've been called Jaiz - in love and war - play on words on the concept of everything is fair in love and war.

Aaannnnyway why are they announcing a movie that’s not coming for another two years now? Have they not learned anything from Aashiqui3 announcement?

This is a remake of Sangam? Wasn’t that the movie Ranveer talked about on KWK saying he would love to remake that with Ranbir? What happened here? Bhansali ditched Ranveer or did Ranbir pull a Bombay Velvet?

In the announcement they said ,release date is on Dec 2025... I'm curious, for next year's movie shouldn't they announce it now?? What's wrong in that??

When is it going into production? I’m assuming not for a while as Ranbir has to start Ramayana soon doesn’t he? Announcing a movie too soon leaves a lot of room for speculations and rumors. Also in Bollywood nothing is set in stone so the slightest change in one film’s schedule of one artist can throw everything off.

Producers sometimes make early announcements to cash in on a star’s popularity. Case in point, Aashiqui3 announcement after BB2. This time Bhansali wants to cash in on Animal’s success. But once again, a lot can happen in two years. I’m assuming there’s a lot that needs to be put into Ramayana and some aspects might take longer than expected. Schedules are easily disrupted in the film industry because everything is unpredictable.
