Well, I guess there is a difference between the spiritual aspect of Hinduism and the sanatan dharma aspect, latter being about the set of duties or religiously ordained practices incumbent upon all Hindus, regardless of class, caste, etc...

The spiritual part is open to everyone, it is inclusive, right?

As far as I know, the prana pratishta had opened Ram's idol's eyes and therefore infused life into the temple with Ram's divine presence a reminder of its transcendence and to be beheld in one's inner thoughts...the devine isn't perceived in a form of a person's image, right, too?

Hinduism itself is a wrong and extremely limited term. It was introduced because the world didn't have an equivalent term to Sanatan Dharma. Dharma is not religion but to equate santan Dharma with other religions the term Hinduism was introduced.

Sanatan Dharma is inclusive for everyone even the atheists and agnostics. There's something for everyone.

As for your last line - To perceive something u do require a form. To experience something you may not.

Nope. No Rekha either. I guess she avoided being seen publicly with Amitabh in Jaya ji's absence. I wish Tiger had accompanied his papa Jacky. Did u see Tiger?

At Ayodhya, Ilaysi says, there was a gathering of saints who welcomed him and endorsed his decision of attending the “Pran Pratishtha” rituals led by Modi.

Former chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Firoz Bakht Ahmed was also among the attendees. He also praised Modi for his positive approach and "reaching out every community".

“Loving your own country is the basic pillar of Islam. Our religion teaches us to coexist, and refrain from hurting sentiments of any community. I was invited by the Prime Minister’s office and it’s a matter of pride to witness the grand event in Ayodhya,” he said.

Iqbal Ansari, a litigant in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid case, was also among those who attended the consecration event. "This is the beginning of the Mandir... Whatever may have been the struggle, today has become the day of the people. Now, people should visit and see whatever there is in Ayodhya," news agency ANI quoted him as saying.

Muslim Bhajan singer, Muslim Karsevaks were also invited.

These are just few names who were there, there were many more people from different religions in the Pran Prathistha.

But people here are so blind in hate that they will stoop down to any level to say nonsense.

Just this line shows y o u r state of mind...and I leave it at that.

As for the mosque that is announced for construction begin in May (after the elections), it's just following the court verdict after the demolition of the Babri one.

And I won't even go into the controversy over the exact site of Ram Janmabhoomi (if the remains of the construction beneath had been a Buddhist one) as Babri Masjid had been used for more than 400 years as the religious place for both, Hindus and Muslims... t h a t should be - for now - another discussion...in another thread, in another area of the forum...

...for this thread, I leave it to the nice people that came after my post that - without any doubt - respected the spiritual aspect of the inauguration.smiley1

I have seen your post in so many threads complaining about invite list..

Just a last answer (because of the notification):

I never complained about an "invite list", I complained about the show-character of this ceremony and the misuse by politics.

So, no list from my side... (and please, refrain from judging my character...I don't judge yours smiley16)

I said not in reply to you but to that person who said President wasn't there as she is Dalit.

So yes this shows my state of mind rather than the person who commented.

Good going smiley20
