Yes. Naitik never bothered that he would upset the family members. He was always blunt. Akshara would time and again compromise and object Naitik from taking a stand for herself. Naitik was such a clear headed character. Nobody could emotionally blackmail him! He did misunderstand Akshara initially but never to the point the way MLs of today behave.
