Anyway, they should have had some sort of closure for his character where it's shown what he is planning to do with future. Also an implication that Fari & Junaid get back together. But nothing. So stupid & disappointing.

Wahaj had really cute chemistry with Hareem man. Gonna miss them so much ❤️ They individually nailed their characters so well and then together they were just ADORBS. I even enjoyed Wahaj with Dure - who plays Lisa. Both the female leads were great in this. And both relationships had a proper arc - except for the hiccup at the end. More than what Mein has given us lol. At least 22 qadam had wholesome relationships ❤️

I mean that longggggg eye contact scene once he gets up without his crutch was INTENSE af , especially with that music in the background (got the good chills … man Wahaj and Hareem can emote with their eyes SO WELL) - anyway it’s kind of a given that they’ll get back together. How can they not 🤷‍♀️ I’m just bitter about not getting more when they had filmed those scenes and had footage 🤦🏻‍♀️ Maybe if the fans pester Green enough they’ll release those scenes. Who knows. I know I’d LOVE to see those scenes. It just makes no sense for them to cut them out 😭

By the way that eye lock was so long I was low key thinking this is more screen time than Zaid/Mj are getting these days put together 😂

happened with MJ too when Zaid was flirting with the girls. Yet she still stuck with him. Then the whole ayra thing - she’s in therapy and taking meds to cope with it. They’re both experiencing jealousy and dealing with it in their own ways - MJ was just prepared for it mentally and ayra wasn’t. But even she later on accepted that zaid can go to MJ’s room coz she’s his wife too. She came around

MJ was not in love with Zaid. It was not jealousy per se ..it was her honour. People were commenting on his loose lifestyle. She had a plan in place when she agreed for second marriage.

We see her breaking down after it is done. She needs to win Zaid's trust and love and she realised unless she got him under the same roof she was not getting any window. She had two options. Divorce with the mockery she has to face in SM (In her case it's not a stigma, its losing face in a challenge she never intended to lose and she will go any extent for it) or take in a second wife and somehow manage to expose her in front of Zaid so he comes back to her. Ayra Zaid ki Zid ban gayi thi ...she never believed in love up until then- she didn't marry for love and she was little Asif type when it came to love...it was nonsense to her actually, she had her reasons to marry Mohib and adjust small things like diet etc for him. Her intention was to show Zaid she'd be a better choice than Ayra. It was not out of love she allowed him to manipulate her ..she had to prove to the world and to Zaid she could be a good wife - he had to give her a chance first.

When it comes to Ayra, she stupidly chose it. She could have moved to a different place with Zaid whom even her bhaabhi was impressed with. He gave her a clear future. He was already disowned, yet doing well by himself. She decided to be a second wife instead. It was not out of love that he should reconcile with his family. It was a revengeful thought actually...she ended up using Zaid to get there. Isn't that what she did eventually? Use Zaid to get back at Asif...when she had the option to love him as he was and take what Zaid offered her in the first place.

So we can take a cue from that, even in fitoor I think people were contemplating that with whom dilnasheen would end up with, here also the writer has played the same card to keep the audience guessing..

There the main leads got a happy ending so hoping the same for the "poster leads"🤭 of this show..

Also pak dramas have tendency of showing that the forced marriages work and they are for the betterment of the characters smiley39

In Fitoor, it was kept gray for a while...the girl had to choose between two guys loving her. They both seemed to love her. So she has to make a choice. She was pushed into ema because her husband started believing she was capable of it and accused her when she had wanted to keep her family's honour. The ema was to show her husband if he accused her she will prove him right now... that's as far as I remember about the story.

It's about trust. If she left her love and married him for whatever reason, and he put her in that position because he chose her....he had to trust her too. After making her lose what her heart wanted he was indebted to her. That lesson he had to learn, but it went totally out of hand...she kept retaliating and he went the other extreme...and unknowingly she took too severe steps too because she was confused between her choices...

I don't remember taking any sides in that drama, because I felt everyone was justified at some level. Just watched to see how it ended...may be had a soft corner for the husband because she went slightly overboard with her retaliation.

Mind you, people still ARE rooting for Zaid Ayra. That’s still happening

I’m okay with Azeekah it’s just that she is not a consistent actor and needs work on voice modulation. It’s the same in every drama. But she does shine in the angst and torture scenes - I thought she was really great in the hospital episode when Aamir dies. Then the rayaan burn 🔥😂 Chemistry is okayish with zaid for me for both pairings. Both pairs had few scenes which were cute and work for the story. Nothing exceptional in either but good enough 👍

I get a feel all the drama reviewers seem to agree on one thing... on more than one thing actually 🤭

They feel it is slow, writing is here and there, direction is lacking etc. but they also seem to agree that Ayra is not supporting Zaid as a wife and lover should...

People can argue MJ is popular thanks to Ayeza, but a large section of neutral viewers have a problem with Ayra's selfishness.

I think people started supporting Ayra because MJ was acting too big for her shoes...that may be, but in the process the audience should not forget in a love story the emphasis is on how the protagonists stay true to the concept of love...love is demanding...how much each one can give, is the question and not whether they deserve it or not.

If you ask me, I'd say Zaid has given- out of respect, loyalty...he deserves devotion back from Ayra and she's still demanding from him instead of understanding what he needs.

MJ got nothing from Zaid, but some good friendly moments...yet she's willing to give without losing her personality...she looks out for him to see he doesn't get hurt...she jumps in to defend him, shield him...a minor glimpse we got to see when she wanted to reassure him not to worry about Asif's wedding...not that he needed it.

Zaid deserves a person who can put his needs before hers...that's what everyone deserves in love...let's see if they get us there.

So that’s why people are furious. Because they have shown those scenes and not put them in the finale ! If they had not shown it then yes people might have accepted but those scenes were cut . And of course they take away from proper closure for Junaid.

after this I’m not holding out much hope in Mein. Zaid is already sidelined. It’s so frustrating to see dramas mess up their endings and character arcs like this. Super lame

I thought him training post surgery was the old track ..he was already battling a knee injury when they met na...it was understood he'd be struggling with that and his dream would remain unattainable sadly ..anyway will watch this drama later...how many episodes?

Since the show is ending soon, they need to speed up everything this week. The plot has been too slow for the last few weeks. It feels if Zaid and MJ are in Turkey for ages.

Because, neither Zaid nor Ayar is a match to Asif's ruthlessness. MJ has that single-mindedness to defeat Asif if necessary - I am truly in the belief that Zaid can't actually hurt his father in any grand way. But MJ turning against Asif needs some solid backing, would they have time to build that?

I never thought of MJ standing up against Asif. Asif is a character that cannot grow much actually. He doesnt believe in love , he knows only money. Best to leave him to himself. His decision to back Kash did not go well...so he's already proved wrong ..rest how the characters work out between them is the writer's choice.

MJ is fond of Asif. She actually refused to believe he got married again, because she knows him better than Zaid knows his Baba. Only when he confirmed it she was bewildered.

The same MJ will never allow Asif to hurt Zaid...for her Zaid comes first and everything that is dear to him. So naturally Zaid's baba gets included in her arc of love. If Zaid curses Asif and hates him, she'd stand with Zaid - that's not happening, I think.

I feel they would want to avoid fan wars here. Imagine even devoted Haya would get a blind fan following if it was some other actress... Murtasim kept forgiving Meerab when there was a Haya sitting there, sacrificing her entire life for him. There'd be people to back her up too, I'm sure.

Ayra was written as a gray character... actually I'd say she resembles Asif the most...had she been born as his daughter, she'd have bull dozed her way through everything that came her way with the amount of money and power she got...

Not at all. Haya thinks she loved Murtasim....she also loved the Ghar ki chaabi....that way Ayra resembles Haya ...she refused to take Zaid without the Ghar ki chaabi ..it irritates her she has not got the Ghar ki chaabi ..🤭toh she's bold to sit on the Ghar ka kursi...🤣

MJ would be Haya if Zaid looked at her with disdain...he doesn't na ..he looks to her for comfort. And MJ may not even know she might love Zaid so much she'd do anything for him. She didn't believe in a concept called love. Give her some time to understand it.
