Many actors (telly and bolly) and models who participate in Bigg Boss often seem to fade into obscurity after the show ends. At best you’ll see the top 3 getting some work but even that isn’t for the longer term. Even those have found success often see it happen either after a long interval, hence no BB momentum, or in a different field. Season 1 to 15 you can pick any contestant, and the probability of their post BB success > pre BB success is likely to be 5%. I can think of very few names - Amit Sadh, Sunny Leone, Karishma Kotak (IPL gigs), Nora Fatehi, Manu P. And I don’t think this serves the brand Bigg Boss well. They need more people who do well after BB so that the brand stays relevant.
And that’s why they have started getting these youtubers, influencers, content creators in! Because they won’t fade into obscurity, in fact their brand will only get stronger after BB. MC Stan is doing ads with THE MS DHONI, he is releasing an album with top starts like Varun Dhawan, Salman Khan etc. Elvish and Malhan will keep going up. Munawar will get a lot of work, and will keep doing his thing. That’s the value of these people to BB I feel!
