Check this. Served angst without butchering or making the male lead an unbearable abuser. Slb suits this format so well.

Also both expressed so much without dialogues for majority of the show.

The OST 😍😍😍... And Jennifer Winget ♥️. Ikr.. That's another main issue with TMD. To make one character look good another is butchered. Veers case for example. Such a oity because he was the only sane character.

And yaa.. Old is always gold! 🥺 we live in the worst ITV era.

It isn't that old. I thought Gautam Rode was way better than Jenny in show. He did so many emotions and perfectly. Jenny hammed a lot but that is format of Slb I guess.

There isn't any comparision really because this was the only male centric show, even title is the name of his character, the show was based on Saras and his righteousness which led to his suffering. Most other shows are centred on the fl and her suffering.

But here they didn't have to butcher the female lead to show Saras suffer. Your heart would break for both Saras Kumud.
