Why does Armaan give so much attention to Ruhi?

Like bro knows that she still likes/loves him? That she thinks that they're "soulmates"? Armaan's basically living the best of both worlds - leading himself on with Abhira while keeping Ruhi as a backup? If I were in a position where I had to be my ex's in-law, I'd try to stay away until the feelings on both sides subside. Especially if you look at it from Ruhi's side, she was in an arranged marriage with Rohit but didn't even have the time to get over her feelings from Armaan and actually spend time with him to even have him in her mind. Armaan just thinks that telling Ruhi that it's all over will actually cut any feelings she has for him and they'll become "normal." Also I'm definitely sure that Armaan isn't completely "over" Ruhi either. Yes, they haven't had a relationship or whatever, but they did at least like each other. At least try to go no contact or be a little cut off? If Armaan's realized his lack of feelings, at be considerate to Ruhi to let her heal??

I’ve been a silent reader on this platform, but this display of closeness between brother in law and sister in law is disappointing. How is this something to portray on mainstream?
Ruhi degrades herself, constantly spying on Armaan and his wife - how is she constantly outside their room, listening to their conversations. She has no backbone to accept her errors, first the car incident and now today. She even had the audacity to attempt to make Abhira the bad one today but thankfully Armaan did something good for his wife for once . She’s completely forgotten her husband is missing, the entire family also. I love that Abhira will stand up to her in front the family tomorrow.

Armaan is a weak ML, who told Ruhi to move on, forget what they had yet constantly gives her the attention she craves. Always consoling her, always conceding to her nonsense, giving her constant attention. Why keep the party a secret from your wife? Knowing that Ruhi is just looking for an excuse to be close?
how I pray their truth comes out soon…. They are really disappointing and I also wish Abhira leaves that house. That family knows nothing outside of what happens within their walls. And my word, Armaan’s mother needs a wake-up call and very soon.
‘hopefully Rohit comes back and blows them all away with his truth.

For me the biggest problem is that Armaan isn't letting Ruhi move on. The only reason why Ruhi's getting half the opportunities she has to get close to Armaan is because Armaan's giving them to her. Like for the entire lunch at office thing - just take the tiffin from her, say thanks, and go back to your work? Why are you sitting there eating together when you've broke up super recently and that too on non-mutual terms? Ruhi's still going through the break up and on top of that, she's having to deal with so many other insecurities. I can cut her some slack but not Armaan who's very clearly decided he wants to move on.

Even if he ends up with abheera it won't change the fact that he was a two timer , cheater who didn't shy away from playing with someone's feelings. He can easily say to ruhi that he doesn't love her , giving her the leverage to move on , but instead intentionally choses to play along.

What's funny is that possibility of Armaan falling in love with abheera is taken as some 'big win' or trophy, ....when he isn't even something valuable to begin with. Falling in love isn't some unique experience for armaan afterall. Abheera very well deserves a man like Armaan , cheater like her family tree.

Does Ruhi even have a mouth and brain...?

From agreeing to marrying Rohit so she can stay close to Armaan

From spying on Abhira-Armaan's relationship like a creep

From trying to getting close to Armaan on several occassions despite knowing he is Abhira's husband, while she is married to his brother

She is the one playing games. Shameless girl could have avoided by saying NO I WILL NOT MARRY ROHIT.

But she's a coward, that's why she is incapable of opening her mouth. Creepy and darpok kahi ki.

What else can you expect from a man who worships the same people who never accepted his own mother in their family . Infact they still talk bad about his mother and her character even after her death many years ago

I really hope The writers get a different ML for Abhira or else she’s better off alone and we would love to see her story without Arman in it

Actually some people appreciate these kind of male lead who is bad to his own mother and hailed as 'green flags'. A person who happily endures his mother being criticised is the ideal partner for this yrrkh generation's so called female lead. He stands up to akshara sharma's beliefs of a husband who doesn't give a damn about his mother. This was the reason she hated abhimanyu birla as he chose his mother manjari over her. Akshara sharma's son in law either had to be an orphan like abhinav or a spineless man like armaan inorder to guarantee abheera's exclusive control....

I’m sorry but I did not watch any other gen of the show but I don’t find Abhira controlling in any way . She’s such a beautiful character and in fact I started watching this show for her and her only
