We are again starting our Star commenter Awards with this story. As i say, your comments are my fuel. More the comments utni hi jaldi energy I get to post the next update.

Clearly this woman-Geet still knows how to mess with him.
Fine! This round she has won.
This was a half-baked unwilling complement.
Not many people tangle with him and win and come out of it unscathed.
Geet was unaware of all these repercussions, when she gets a message from the Maan's assistant saying that the package had been received with a smiley emoji.
She feels relieved that things are stable and doesn't give it any more thought.
The Assistant seeing his boss regaining his usual attitude also sighs with relief and gets started with the next important task- finding a life assistant for the madam.
He interviews all sorts of people from different backgrounds and finally settles on a retired ex- military lady.
She had received few injuries due to which she had to retire, and she didn't want a desk job. And she seemed to have high EQ.

The lady assistant is sent over to Geet.
Geet is surprised by this.
She doesn't feel she needs any secretary or assistant.
She can manage her own affairs.
But she also understands that since this person is hired by Maan, this person is more likely here to keep an eye on her and report her doings to her real employer.
While all the Assistant wanted was for this lady to act as an alarm clock to periodically remind Madam to send packages.
While Maan didn't even have direct contact with the lady at all. He just thought that all minor things can be taken care of by this person and as Geet's popularity grows it's good to have a semi bodyguard around.
He didn't want a spy on her side or receive any day-to-day updates.

After this minor hiccup, things continue as usual for another month or so.
Maan would count and eat the cookies sparingly.
He finishes the normal round ones first and then had to spend 15 min to decide which design to eat. That would mean he can't look at it any longer.

One day, Maan suddenly receives a message from Geet.
‘I have finished shooting an episode with Mr xxx artist and it seems like the production crew might try to sell his and mine CP (Couple Pairing) to boost the show ratings. Iust wanted to let you know in advance. You may see some news which may look like I am dating this person.’
‘I see’
Maan texts back.
After a few minutes he again texts her.
‘Do you want to sell CP with him to boost your popularity?’
He knows these tropes and fake news to boost ratings.
He is surprised though that he got such an early head- up
She replies-
‘Not really. But I don't have a say in this, and I cannot refute the decisions from above. So, I cannot publicly deny anything that may come up in next few days.’
He texts back.
‘You can use up one of the favors I owe you and stop all this. Do you want to?’
‘No. It doesn't affect me much. I want to save it for more serious issues.’
She answers in her text.
Maan really wanted to hear yes.
He called her this time.
G-Hello?
M- It doesn't affect you much?
G-It doesn't.
M- What about your reputation? You are a new and in first show rumors of you hooking up with someone are being released.
G- I don't think they will go as far as hook up….hmm mostly get along very well... good chemistry….ambiguous stuff which can be easily denied.
M- So you don't care if it affects your reputation?
G- In entertainment world who has clean reputation? Plus people are not so narrow minded now…they understand that people date and break up.
M- What date? Didn't you say it will be very casual? Just get along well kind of thing?
G- I was telling in general... do you... you don't believe in everything that's published, right?
M-Are you questioning my intellect?
G- Then... you don't want any rumors about me?
M-Of course I-I don't care about it! I just don't understand why you are going along with things you don't like to do when you clearly have other options. It just makes me think that you actually support this method of publicity.
G- Believe what you want then. I don't have to convince you, do I?
Maan felt irritated to his bones.
M- Fine. If this is what you want. Don't come crying to me later to help with damage control when things get too out of hand.
Geet was silent for a long moment then asked.
G- I can't?
Maan disconnects the call and almost thrws his phone in a rare fit of anger.
Seems like the score had become:

As forecasted, there are few articles and pics floating around social media saying that the female host and male artist had sizzling chemistry and looked so good together.
They had such fun while shooting…. blah blah
The male artist posts a selfie of them together with the text that, -it was pleasure working with her and he looks forward to their future collaborations.
Geet gives the post a like and doesn't post any pictures or comments herself.
This successfully creats a buzz and the next episode that airs get an all-time high rating.
There were lot of fans who shipped them together.
Some posted negative comments that Geet was using the male artist to boost her own popularity.
These were all expected outcomes, and it was planned to just let the matter die down.
No need to further post any comments or stories.
People are always obsessed with what's next what's new. So, this will be old news in max a week.
Maan also understood all this and observed that as Geet had said it was very mild hype.
He sees the report that the production crew has no further plans of continuing this topic. So he leaves it alone.
Until he gets another message from Geet.
G- There may be some ambiguous post to continue this CP hype. Apparently, the male artist's company feels this is good hype for his upcoming work and they are not willing to stop this’.
M -So you need me to step in now?
G- No. Just letting you know in advance.
M- I don't need such updates if you don't need my help.
G- I don't need your help for every small thing. As for informing you, it's in the contract to be truthful and faithful to each other. I don't want any misunderstanding or doubts between us.
M - I see. I won't doubt you over every small gossip. Rest assured.
G- Thanks. I can handle this. Just you watch.
M - Waiting for the show then.
He replies with a smirk emoji.
He does trust her integrity.
At least he trusts that she won't do this ghaate ka deal sort of thing. high risk-low return,

In the next few days again few articles and news about these two crops up.
And a few days later the male artist likes several of her social media pics and posts.
Seeing there is no response, no acceptance, no denial from Geet or her artist management company; The male artist next posts another selfie of both of them.
This time in different outfits and location, having dinner together, with caption - Great food, even better company.
The pic makes people think that these two have met again after the episode shooting was over for a dinner date.
This time Geet replies on the pic with another pic. Same location and dress but with additional person sitting on other side of the male artist; with caption- Great food, even better company but the best is the occasion. Congratulations on your engagement @ male artist@ the other female in the pic.
The topic of all the gossip immediately shifts and the Geet is ignored all together now.
Maan also smiles, satisfied with how this show ended.
