This is just clear symbolism that shows the difference between Abhira and Ruhi!!! Abhira will drive an auto-rickshaw but not wait- she sits on the driver’s seat of her life. Like she said- she makes her own destiny and she will not blindly follow fate. She is a go- getter not someone who waits for life to happen to her. She gets this from her mom Akshara who after so many tragedies and upheavals still created an amazing life for herself and her daughter. Ruhi on the other hand is waiting for life to happen- she is blaming destiny and Armaan and God for her miseries. Like she said, she is destined to come second- the thing is you have to make the efforts to come first. She is waiting for Armaan- Abhira relationship to get over after one year, instead of thinking about her own life and career. That’s why it’s so important to have your own career, goals and ambitions. Yes it’s good to have family, good to have relationships and good to make them a priority but the only thing one can depend on is themselves. Ultimately everyone and everything is temporary. Abhira can also be the self- victim mode because she lost her mom, does not have her dad or any extended family and is depended on Armaan and Poddar family. But her goal and career is driving her forward and ultimately giving her happiness. One should not be depended on others for happiness- you have to learn to be happy by yourself.
