To be honest I have seen such trashy male leads that at present Armaan looks like a saint to me . I watched Saavi ki sawari abhi latest ( Samridhi's old show), there the male lead was again another trash- kicked the FL multiple times from the house, character assassinated her blaming that she is giving signals to two men at the same time. And it's all before love confession. Though he improved later but Armaan is nowhere near to him now.
Armaan is also not a complete spineless - he did take stand for the right in front of his family members despite all the ill treatment he gets.
His biggest issue is that he tries to be too mahaan and please everyone and only spineless when it comes to himself and things related to him. He is that annoying Mahaan bahu who we have been tolerating on screens since childhood.
