Yes that’s why it’s really important that he is falling for and accepting the real version of MJ not the fake one.

I don’t understand how this series was shot ? Sometimes Wahaj’s hair is very short, sometimes a bit long . Sometimes he has a full beard, sometimes stubble . No consistency.

Yep it’s been annoying me too. He gets his beard colored as well so in the scenes where it is dyed he looks younger but then where it’s not he suddenly looks more mature lol. And then same outfit but short hair / long hair. Oh well… another thing to add to this show’s flaws ! 😂

The whole rejection + marriage to MJ literally happened in a single episode and I get where you’re coming from but it was made quite evident that it was an impulsive decision made by Zaid based on Ayra’s rejection of him. Aamir’s comments about him also didn’t sit well with him and we know now why that stung him so much - him being under his dad’s shadow does bring out insecurities. So it was impulsive and ego driven. And the fact that it hasn’t been brought up at all in a drama that’s literally based on egoistic decisions of people is disappointing- these characters are making these choices but they’re never addressed or talked about. We only see consequences and not any real introspection. Its a missed opportunity.

Zaid himself admits later on to Kashmala that he gets the reason behind Ayra’s rejection now but he didn’t then - in the moment he had taken it as a personal blow but she actually didn’t have a choice “Koi bhi larki uss ki jaga yahi kerti” - which again proves that his judgement/decision was impulsive and rushed.

As for love, Zaid never wanted to move on from Ayra. Boy was right back outside Ayra’s door after his wedding - if Ayra hadn’t set strict boundaries with him then, Zaid would have ended up with her even sooner. When he tells her he loves her every other episode, I’m gonna believe him. It’s not a deep script nor is Zaid dishonest. If anything both him and Ayra are pretty straight forward in expressing their feelings and state of mind. So whatever they say during their ups and downs - it is what it is, I believe. If in the next episode Zaid says I don’t love Ayra anymore, I’ll believe that too lol. I don’t think it’s that complicated 🤷‍♀️

About MJ … eh. I think a lot more growth has to happen there still. I’m not convinced of love yet, just feelings. Its difficult to look past the scheming and deceit towards someone you love - she has to let that go for me to believe her. You can’t love someone but at the same time be happy in their misery. You can’t have love and deceit going hand in hand. You may perceive it as it being okay because she’s not hurting Zaid *directly* but for me she is indirectly doing that by hurting the person he cares about most. Its tainted. A lot of their story actually does feel second rate because it’s tainted - the polygamy plot, Zaid’s frustrations at Ayra playing a role, MJ’s motivations and schemes. It’s not clean, that’s for sure.

BUT I’m trying to keep an open mind and I’ll see how much they can sell this love story during the Turkey visit. I think that will be the deciding factor to convince the audience. Because I know once they get back, there will be so many problems waiting for them lol. So this is their chance. I’m both worried and optimistic lol. This script can go either way 🤦🏻‍♀️

If you see the story in its continuity...

Zaid made that excuse for Ayra once she was available.

Zaid chose Ayra as a partner.

He went to her house with proposal.

Her brother rejected, she agreed with her brother.

He was heartbroken.

It was a definite NO forever.

He got a sudden proposal from MJ and decided to go for an arranged marriage to strengthen his family business.

He agreed. Till there things were smooth.

Ayra learns the truth of manipulation and stupidly tells him after the marriage.

And then she tells him to get lost. (Then why tell him at all! 🤭) Very dumb of Ayra!

He feels guilty...and he feels cheated. He takes all his frustration out on MJ and even blames her for pressurising his father.

Very stupid of Zaid!

He wants to take revenge for continued assault on Ayra's family - wants to divorce MJ- leaves his dad- strengthens his position - proposes to Ayra to fulfill their dreams and commitment. He's going to divorce MJ.

Ayra tells him rather than divorce MJ she prefers him to get back with his family...and accepts second wife status. Dumb of Ayra and Zaid for listening to her dumb idea. He should have divorced MJ and proposed to Ayra after 6 months. 🤭 If Ayra had not put a condition like that, and told him to wait, he would have and he would have taken few years to find out how difficult it is to keep supporting her as a partner who just takes and doesn't give back. Ayra looks out for herself first... whereas Zaid has always put her first. For how long will a relationship like that last!

In the last episode after we see MJ in love, Zaid goes to meet his father wearing the same shirt as previous day and with different hairstyle/beard Again we see him in Turkey with shorter hair and darker beard .
