Where is Rohit

I havent seen the show in some time, have only watched some clips. So is Rohit missing ? Do poddars think he is missing or do they think he is dead ? How come they are back to celebrating festivals and all when their son is not there. How is everyone behaving so normally ?

There's a one month leap in the show

Rohit was presumed dead but dadisa refused to accept it. They are hoping for Rohit to return. Rohit is coming back early February so until then...we will just see the usual kitchen politics.
