To be frank, armaan & ruhi in white definitely stands out in the crowd of greens & reds. They gives more couple vibes. I don't think actors have any say in the costumes they use in the show, especially for an hour special episode.

My theory is...talking about show.. since Rohit dissappeared Ru was in guilt and was out of Armaan zone for sometime... we didnt see her near AA bedroom during that time.. now she's coming out of guilt and has gotten over Rohit.. whatever guilt.. Rohits was nice guy stuffs she's thinking now she's over that... she's again interested in AA bedroom convos... noticing their actions...getting happy seeing Armaan lost for her. Now she'll see they wore same color.. everything eventually lead her to go into earlier zone where she'll want Armaan close(like her reception party behavior) and all these color coordination etc things to make her assume see we're destined woh din dur nahi jab woh openly soche Rohit is dead, Abhira will leave after one year... rasta clear hain shadi ka
