Episode begins with Armaan trying to plead Daadi sa to change her age old views about making professional choices. Daadi fumes with fury and shouts at Armaan , declaring the entire world might change but the Poddar family customs n traditions will never change .Krish will join office of the family firm while Charu will over look household chores .
charu and Krish are in tears .Abhira is disappointed to hear , no girl of this family has ever worked outside this house n never will. Sanjay reprimands Kaajal n all leave for their own rooms.
Vidya lashes out at Armaan for n sulking Daadi sa. Armaan is ready to do anything for Charu n Krish. Vidya guesses he was going out of the way because of Abhira .
Charu is weeping in solitude , Roohi comes to her n suggests they do some colouring together to relieve their stress. Charu reluctantly agrees. During this activity they get into friendly banter n Roohi blurts about her cousin sister, her maasi’s daughter.
In their bedroom Abhira confronts Armaan for the regressive mindset of Poddar family . Also they never fail to blame Abhira for everything . She accuses Daadi sa and Phupha sa . Armaan calms Abhira , fans he n offers water .
Abhira informs Armaan that she had to fill out her college form. Seeks his help as Daadi sa will burn her form if she learns about it . Armaan asks her to go ahead , She reminds him of his promise to her mother , and she is ready to do anything to fulfil mumma’s dream. They have massive nok jhok. Abhira is ready to fight for her career. Armaan again reassures . Abhira does not trust him any more , she wants to talk to her herself , Armaan stops her with great efforts .
at BF table , Poddar family is having BF , Daadi informs she had got navigation from NGO and asks Roohi to accompany her as the NGO was for young girls. They asks her to get her new bahus so that their girls get inspired . Daadi asks Roohi to accompany her . She puts Abhira in poor light n praises Roohi. Roohi feels faint n Daadi decides to go alone . Armaan tries to console her as Abhira is disturbed . He persuades her to remain calm n quiet , he assures he will speak to Daadi . She accuses him of being khadoosman. Manisha states Ar,Aam was biwi ka gulaam as he followed her everywhere .
Aryan persuades all youngsters to play card game with him. Aryan wants Roohi to win this time n break Armaan’s record of winning everytime. All are pleased with Roohi as she wins. Later a Roohi learns Armaan had purposely lost the game to make her win.. when Roohi confronts him with his cards , he states he was ready to do anything tk bring a smile on her face .
At Goenka mansion , Manish happily declares they were invited , Surekha finds the gift was sent in broken basket n bad mouths Poddars and refuses to go . Asks Swarna and Manish to go ahead to their samadhis .
At Poddar villa Abhira shows everyone the viral video of Daadi sa doin g very well at the NGO visit n she was earning lots of appreciation from netizens . Manish, Vidya , Roohi are very pleased , they congratulate Kaveri Daadi /Maasa , she offers them bank notes on this happy occasion.
Abhira declines the bank notes n demands something else . Daadi is ready to gift her what she wanted . Abhira makes her promise . She seeks permission to complete her higher studies n do job n become independent. Daadi fumes n declares such will never happen. Abhira is shocked.
