As per IF article
“Solanki's complaint specifically contends that Annapoorani deliberately demeans Lord Ram and accuses the filmmakers of intentionally releasing the film to hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus. He points to specific scenes in the movie that he believes insult Hindu beliefs, including one where Nayanthara's character, a temple priest's daughter, is shown offering namaz wearing a 'hijab' before preparing biryani.
The complaint also references a dialogue where a character mentions that Lord Ram and Maa Sita had consumed meat. Additionally, another scene portrays Nayanthara choosing to attend Farhaan's 'iftaari' instead of going to the temple. In light of these allegations, Solanki demands that an FIR be filed against Nayanthara, director Nilesh Krishnaa, and others associated with the film for promoting 'love jihad' and hurting religious sentiments.”
Movie was quite clear on its intentions.
Anyways,
7 Indian states banned Da Vinci Code in 2006 coz of Church sentiments.
Mamata Didi banned Kerala Story.
India mein common hai.
I knew the biryani scene would cause issues aand that the male (parallel) lead being Muslim would add fire to it
Snowflakes can F off. Clowns

to Netflix!
.
Does this mean these scenes are banned everywhere in the world on Netflix or just in India?
What’s with the resurgence of maniacal Ram Bhakts these days anyway? It’s like they decided to pick one Hindu God and ran with it. Why did they pick Ram? Why not Shiva or Krishna or anyone else? I am just flabbergasted. It wasn’t ever like this before
The movie was one of the most boring films tbh.
The whole biryani and way over the top. Having said that the film intentionally glorifies a particular religion while being extremely critical of another religion/caste and was quite unnecessary. Some of the filmmaking crew are known to be bias. The bias is way obvious.
It is okay to make films that are anti religion. Problem in India is that films are made only anti hindu or anti Brahmin and never against any other religion and that is what is pissing off a lot of people Either do it for all or none.
Example the Hindu Brahmin with a shikhara (Amrish Puri) has been a villain in many movies and the father in a church or a mullah( Amar Akbar Anthony) are portrayed as extremely good. This is extremely unfair and unfortunate and has been prevalent in the Indian industry
