Drugs are involved even in Malayalam industry (mostly marijuana) and mohanlal's womanising way is an open secret for decades. It's said he will hit on anything that moves. Mammotty on the other hand has a cleaner image when it comes to women but is pretty famous for his attitude. But both are way too talented and big to get affected by these. Prithviraj was linked with literally every single female co-star he worked with before he got married. He started off when he was 17 and all his female co-stars were around his age as well. Fahad fasil is rumoured to be a drug addict along with his wife. Dulqar generally has a clean image like his father.

Artists in general have a very different mindset than general people. That I have noticed.

I think Bilal distanced himself from KA after overdose of Asfar and Salman being sidelined. He posted promos and replied to sajal when KA started. He also reshared journalist/ fangirl of sajal, mahwish's story of wanting to see Bilal and sajal in a proper romantic drama while KA was onair. Don't think there is any problem between sajal and Bilal but it looks like Bilal was not happy with how his character in KA turned out.

Hona hi tha. An actor of his calibre gets sidelined helmed by popular names - Nadeem Baig & Ahmed Sahab bcz of Shehreyar.

Shehreyar might be a good actor but not definitely the best or at level of Bilal. But still getting so much footage in a Kashf foundation drama might have irked Bilal at a later stage. Ab woh kuch keh bhi nai sakta as the episodes were already pre decided.

KA he particularly chose bcz of Ahmed Sahab's script + such an A team it was but sab gadbad kar dia.

In IM however, whatever creative difference (if) he had with Farooq, atleast he would be able to have his own say considering his rapport with him and his character won't get sidelined by anyone + another advantage Dure being not being same level of actor which is proving beneficial for him.

Yes. I think kasf foundation and Mohammed Ahmed wanted bilal and not nadeem baig. If I am not wrong the lady from kasf said she wanted bilal and sajal. The entire teasers and the drama was promoted with bilal and sajal's name but they were barely in the drama.

Surprised to hear about Fahad fasil. He is a terrific actor.

Even kasf foundation only promoted salman and thanvi and not asfar in something related to KA men. Going by kasf foundation's other dramas, their male characters incline more towards salman and thanvi types rather than asfar. In the iv given by aagaji and Nadeem baig, aagaji only talked about Salman's characterisation and not asfar. He seems to have been fond of Salman's character as he created that character based on someone he knew. Same with kasf foundation lady. She talked about how different salman is from usual male leads.

Sheheryar is a good looking guy and an eye candy but far from a good actor. He has been acting for 10+ yrs and his acting is very basic for someone with that much experience. Even in KA he was the only one who faulted in some scenes whereas every other actor were on point. The entire asfarr-aaliya scenes looked completely disjoined from the rest of the drama. Aaliya was completely out of character with asfar with her meek demeanor solely to put romantic feel to the scenes. Directors do add additional scenes that's not in the script and it looks like some random scenes of asfar and Aaliya were not from the script.

IM is an out and out male oriented drama and even if farooq rind wants he cannot sideline bilal's character. He is literally carrying the entire drama and everything revolves around his two characters.
