Hope it's okay for me to join in.
Got into this drama around the time the wedding had happened as I was watching it mostly on tiktok and got intrigued. So went to watch it from episode 1 properly. Despite the fact I absolutelly hate the MIL have to say it's been mostly a good watch and quite tight in stortytelling at times compared to some dramas. As annoying as some of the side characters are everyone has played their part quite well. And as much as I hate to say this but seriously these type of MIL and SILs do exist.
Na murad as i like to call him lol, definitely deserved a second slap just for the fact he is so weak and can't stand on his promises. She was just telling him what was happening and he slapped her. Have to say I'm really liking Talha, the actor playing murad, seems like a breath of fresh air compared to some very popular male actors that people are obsessed with(yeah you know who I'm tallking about, not that I don't find them good looking and good actors
) but this guy seems different, and I think it's his diction. Which is atributed to the fact he has done theatre. Definitely has a spark to him, may not always be the best looking but he has a charm - thought in some scenes he looks sooo good, think it's how his hair is styled.
Really like Iqra in this. I've liked Mannat character as even when she tried her best with the family it wasn't like the normal FL who are so desperate and bechari. I feel she seemed real. Trying but not just lying on the floor for them to walk over her.
I like the actress playing idrat (the one whose husband is Faisal) one thing I found hilarious and so hypocritical is how she had a love marraige and wants her husband to herself. She doesn't live with her in laws, neither does the older SIL. So how funny they want their brother to themselves. Even though people are rolling their eyes at them, honestly I've seen such MIL and SILs who freaking just want their son and bro to themselves yet also their own husbands. These type of people are obsessed with their bro and basically in love. It sounds disgusting to say but damn if they could have married their own bro they would. basically they hate the fact their bro is moving up in the world and his wife and kids will benefit from that.
I haven't seen the last two episodes will watch them all together with the last two this week. I feel llike the only way they can redem NaMurad is if he agrees to moving out with Mannat.
Also I remember seeing this somewhere how he had no objection with his mum wanting a better jahaiz but couldn't handle tickets for their honeymoon lol.
