Sure. But the guy is the villian of the show. Not hero.
When ITV had more sense than Vanga !
This one's even worse. The first one you can attribute to waking up on the wrong side of the bed but this one lol is so regressive.

The actor is quite attractive but then he opens his mouth to speak those dialogues. I don't sense a redemption story for his villain arc.
Have you watched the serial? And why a vilian need a redemption arc ? If the wife leave him, that is enough for not glorifying such toxic men.

No, I don't watch serials and after seeing those two videos, I feel justified in my decision for not watching them lol.
I know in some shows they do have the male character eventually reform and learn to be a better partner and I do think in a better world, it is important to rehabilitate such people rather than leave them as cesspools of negativity and have them continue to corrupt others with their influence. But I know that's not always possible and some people are beyond saving.
But didn’t he turn into saint husband later? I don’t remember quite well but I think he did.Sure. But the guy is the villian of the show. Not hero.

this is why we need to know the context !
I also haven’t watched it. But i checked wikipedia. Apparently the guy isn’t hero. He is the villain. So he doesn’t need to redeem. The serial identify him as negative and that is enough.
glorification is the difference. redemption and consequences are important if he is a hero/protagonist of a show. It doesn’t matter such men may not receive any consequences in real life. If its a movie or show, consequences are necessary.
I don’t know. As per wikipedia the heroine left him and married some other guy. May be this guy redeemed and married another one.
He really cannot keep masculinity out of this as well
