Episode begins with Anupama is shocked as Yashpal’s mom praising her masala chai . She suggests her son that if he offered this chai to his customers , they will flock at his restaurant. She calls her Annapurna and gives her short name Anu. She gives her Shagun of a huge bank note . Anu refuses but mata ji forcibly stuffs it into her hand , asking not to refuse shagun . This was her first preparation she had tasted Anupama is grateful to her while Yashpal is frustrated n annoyed as she called it Balle balle chai.Anupama thanks the lord for this blessing n feels her stay in Amreeka will be OK after all she is able to use her talents to earn a good living .
She says her prayers as she goes to bed , she prays for all her children n family members . she wakes up suddenly after dreaming of the unknown girl rejecting her (Aadya) she wonders what her connection was with that girl .
At shah house Baa is seen pampering n spoiling Ansh, giving priority to his native in village accompanying her n missing on school and home work. Dimple protests about his school but Vanraj puts her down and supports baa as she feels family , relatives were as important than Studies , and he was only in kindergarten class n not Phd , that missing a few days will make lots of difference .
Ansh and Baa have playful sessions , she reprimands Dimple for being careless, states she was informing that Ansh was going with her nit seeking her permission to take her .
Soon Pakhi arrives with daughter Ishaani. (New actress in the role of Pakhi) from Delhi. She is divorced from Adhik . He only communicates when he wants to meet Ishaani . Ishaani and Ansh have fight over Ishaani’s toy getting snatched by Ansh. Baa asks about her online job n she shares she was doing ok .
Pakhi orders Dimple around like a maid n Dimple attends to her demands.
At Kapadia house , Aadya borrows Shruti’s laptop for school project . She views a picture of Anupama on her desk top .
She recollects all horrible moments with her , her rejection, her scolding , her priorities for others etc . Right t hen Shruti arrives and notices same pic n says this was a Joshi Ben and she was very graceful and make excellent masala chai. Anuj arrives and remarks Shruti was praising the joshi Ben very much . Shruti wants to show him her pic by Aadya prevent him , she is scared Pops will recognise this woman n might choose that woman over Aadya .she makes an excuse of delay in making school project .
Anuj and Shruti leave her n decided not to push her .
At SH , Baa is annoyed with Pakhi who was on her lap top while Dimpy was over worked with housework n caring for the two kids . Pakhi refuses to do any domestic chores , Kavya arrives and confrontsPakhi for her attitude towards Dimple. Neither sharing domestic chores nor caring for her own child .
Baa reprimands Pakhi as she behaves spoilt n battameez as ever. She was one trouble maker .
At NY restaurant Anupama has prepared several bottles of Chai masala and placed them on the counter. chef Vikram appreciates the scent and her chai. Anupama learns how Yashpal was betrayed in love and deserted by her many yrs back . Anupama recollects how Anuj tk felt heart broken for 26 yrs and now Anuoama feels heart broken with ehr separation from Anuj. She gets emotional about her broken heart.
Shruti arrives and appreciates the scent of Chai masala . Anupama gifts Shruti one bottle for chai. Shruti shares how she loved Her chai n how she loved Gujrati food while her fiancé hated it .Shruti states she was living with her fiancé n his daughter Aadya . Anupama too remembers how she had adopted Choti as daughter , she hopes she gets married to fiancé soon n stays happily for ever.
Shruti befriends Anupama she feels their vibes match, feel some connection. Shruti takes their seflie n takes Vikram’s nunnery as Anupama did not have mobile phone .

Vikram chef tries to convince Yashpal to add Gujrati food items on their menu , He watches Anupama as she prepares the dishes in a jiffy, offers him a thaali prepared by Anupama, assures him it will be a hit with customers. Yashpal is skeptical.
Anupama gets an offer from Shruti to cook Indian food at their residence on the occasion of Aadya’s birthday , her friends loved Indian food . Anuj and Aadya are both taken aback by Shruti’s words.
