This song wasn't made to showcase any dance skills but to juxtapose Rishi and Rhea celebrating their married life while Dev and Maya would cheat on them...

He was tolerable as dancer in other song-dances, imo.

So what ? They are actors and not everyone dance well. So Abhishek’s character is not a very good dancer.

I didn't see Abhi in the song, I only saw John.

What's pathetic is not that he didn't know how to dance. He didn't even try to learn or make an effort. He just hoped people would ignore his dance skills because his father himself was no good dancer himself. He probably forgot though that unlike him his father is a stellar actor.

Still he could have made an effort years later but didn't because he's lazy and uninspired. Salman could get away with it because he had looks, and chutzpah. And even Salman worked on his body but Abhishek always looked for excuses.

When people talk about nepotism I don't mind those who work hard on their craft, whether they succeed or not is not in their hands. But this lappu Abhishek doesn't want to do any work. Even at home he wants Aishwarya to do all the heavy lifting. And then when she has to listen to all tantrums from in-laws he goes and hides behind Jaya's pallu instead of speaking up for Ash who's alone in that house.

Biggest loser in my book.

He claimed during a Dhoom 2 song shoot his character isn’t meant to dance and Adi told to anyway. That’s why it came off as bad He said it’s not a character requirement to go shirtless and dance
