Anuj clearly misses Anupama while CA harbours intense hatred for her indicating that she also hasn't been able to get over her adoptive mother. CA finds comfort to some extent in her dad's fiancee but Shruti herself said that CA has not opened up to her fully yet.
But then this is what happens in every itv show -- to maintain/improve trps makers will take a leap and separate the leads for the dumbest possible reason. Third and fourth angles will be introduced as one-sided lovers or would-be spouses. The leads will meet and one or both the leads will kickstart marriage drama with third/fourth angles to prove "mujhe koi farak nahi padta."
Only difference is here CA will force Anuj to marry Shruti to thwart Anupama's re-entry in their lives. Also, sp and Rajan shows really get one or both the leads married to third/fourth angles post leap.
My only hope is Sukirti. She always plays positive and progressive roles. So hopefully Shruti's character won't turn negative or obsessive.
Infact, I would be happy if Shruti can reunite the family, but if Rajan has got her onboard to beget the next lead of the show, as Anupama has supposedly passed the child-bearing age and make Anupama everybody's mother India, then........I have nothing more to say! Also, I assume a leap after this 5-year leap is highly likely to be a generational leap whenever it happens!
