Anupamaa 26th Dec 2023 Written Update & Daily Discussions Thread

Episode begins with Anupama busy with her cleaning job at Indian restaurant in New York. She is requested for help by the chef , to serve some obaturas tk o e customer as waiters were busy . Anuoama serves bhatooras to the customer n she gets into a friendly banter with the girl who appreciates the taste of choley bhatoorey. Anupama’s lectures begin and she gives loads of advise to this girl. She closes some pictures of her as she likes Anuoama’s motherly vibes and her behaviour reminds her of her own mother . They introduce each other n her name is Shruti.

Anupama watches as Shruti rushes out to meet her BF/fiancé as he arrives to pick her . they have close romantic moments n Anupama watches them from the window . She fails to recognise Anuj .

as Anuja and Shruti drive he seeks her help to control Aadya and her social media obsessions . Aadya agrees but reminds Anuj hiw it was now oart of life for next gen, she then broaches the topic of their marriage , she makes an excuse the Aadya was asking about it. Anuj is reminded of Anupama and he gets nostalgic . He states they were engaged because if Aadya , they better keep it there .

Anupama’s employees likes her work n gives her employment. Anupama the seeks permission t9 stay at the restaurant as she was homelsss. She offers to pay test for it. The owner permits her to use the store room. The chef asks Anupama to help herself to the left overs . Anupama later serves herself a delicious spread n thanks Kanha ji for this first proper meal in Amreeka . she makes herself comfortable inside the restaurant , she has hot beverage n looks out of the window , she watches Couples walking together on Christmas eve. She misses Anuj n gets emotional .
later she tries to open her suitcase , she is shocked to find it belonged to some one else . She realises the case got exchanged with the costumer Shruti .

At Kapadia house , Shruti also realises this suitcase was not hers . She calls Anuj and informs the same . The contents of the suitcase remind Anuj very much if Anupama and he get emotional and gets heart ache as he remembers her vividly .He can’t take it any more as the bottle of spices bring back memories . He asks her to shut the suitcase and makes arrangements for stuff to be retrieved.

Anupama thanks Kanha ji for this shelter, for this job and for the meals. She had none until the previous day, she smiles feeling satisfied n pats herself with appreciation. She remembers Choti Anu reprimanding n hurting her.
