My Pov: That shaadi will come from A Dad I guess because Babita might become a typical villain saas of ITV and join hands with Ishika. A Daddy is the only person who might say "Guru Ji ne bola na...Shaadi karlo beta" Actually, if someone will be force it's Virat and not the opposite. Amu if any other choice, she will take anyone else but Virat.

Also, I feel if she marry Virat now (the soonest they will give it to us), it will make Virat right, that she is marrying for money and blablabla. It's common on ITV shows, so the authenticity here should be, after the 30-Day notice, she left, join another company (related to her studies), save money, open her own business and become a leader/CEO (they even can take a lil leap, I wouldn't mind)...Virat, regretting his move begins to feel something from her, but she left, he is focusing on his business too, whatever it is. Then at an event they meet again...nok jhok back, becomes rival, then friend and here the love story can take place. Bakhi are details with the supporting cast.

This is how I see things in KMTMG, Amu cannot marry VSA without being stable financially. What you say?

All this is fine, if it was a web series. But since it is a daily drama series airing on ITv at 10.15 pm, it will be the usual melodramatic, Ott, stereotypical Hindi serial show. smiley18

There is a very good serial, Premie, in Tamil of past K. Balachander (who directed the Hindi movie Sadma-Kamal and Sri devi and ek duje keliye) where the FL is very similar to Amruta, independent/strong/loving who moves to Bombay from Chennai when her father remarries after her mother's death, a very affluent man, the step-mom is a spendthrift and her children are the same and very spoilt, so the father asks Premie to get back and bring some sense to her step mom and siblings. He dies very soon after. Her step-brother becomes a drug addict, a relevant contemporary social crucial problem, she tries hard to change him. There are a few men in her life in this time frame who her step-mom tries to marry her off, some very rich/good looking and some male chauvinists. One friend she makes in a bank, similar to her in character, married with a wife suffering from cancer who tries to bring them together before her death. The scripts and dialogues are very good and logical with lots of comedy inserted also.

I think that remake in Hindi would have suited Sriti very much, since after Abhigya/Shabir, no other ML looks suitable for her. But, will any producer dare to break the norm and have a serial with no single ML when romance/love story seems to be the basis of the serials now. But there is no doubt that Sriti would do justice to the role.

[Spoiler Alert] So Ishika couldn't handle watching their dance and called mom to stop it. [Ep 29/ Dec 25th]

Shekhar finally talked about what she said about Rajiv the other day - of course now doesnt count cause of the new mu he has courtesy Ishika.

The planned thing by Rajeev takes shape (btw weird plan to execute if one thinks about it) Was kind of odd that Amruta stood there for a long time with that torn shirt - wont expect anyone irl to stay at the same place. and Virat helps her. Oh... Rajiv got one on his right cheek this time... though unintentionally. following up on that left-right-left right dialogue.

forced fall and catch... He does need to stand up to his Mom. A good thing though is Amruta knows he is scared of his mom and doesnt care at all about mom's 'obnoxiousness'. [something that is getting more and more clear - even shown after the dance.]

Babita disappointed since her 'mega plans' to insult her are falling on her face - may be her peanut brain cant figure out if she doesnt call her and plans things against her, she wont have to bite the dust.

Another forced fall and catch... and banter later, Amruta learns it was done by Rajeev.

Some work done meanwhile : some project... profits of which will go to Nimrit. Hope they move beyond these parties!!!!!!! On party mode since Ep 16 / 12th Dec.. and i dont think it is helping.

And saw another one where Amruta witnesses Rajiv hugging a girl in the road outside and saying she is the love of his life and not Nimrit/ Amruta takes a picture of them, returns back to Ahuja home to find Virat/Nimrit talking there/contemplates as to whether to tell Virat or not

Funny how Virat who knows Rajeev from childhood has no clue to his dark side of character.

Promos happening quickly but the Ahjus family's glaring characterization shortcomings have not been rectified yet by the writer

In that case, may be its the end of parties. Going according to what Nimrit actor mentioned in that iv.

Thats actually coming up tomorrow. The woman is the same one who helped him with the shirt thing.

Yeah, at least a bit odd that Virat has no clue. May be it would've been better if he was some business partner/client rather than childhood friend - unless he is childhood friend whom he met after a long time after coming to Mumbai.

They will bring forced ones, but hope they know she is working for him and keep it to near minimum - the ones in the garden the other day were unnecessary In this sense.

Comfort-wise yep.

Garden wala some moments were not needed, they could give us that half-hug followed by nok jhok, and the last part with the shoe bass. I found the pull-up to switch the light too much. But overall moment acha ta.

https://youtu.be/O_8EyZ4XNlg?si=4H-VJNGs8sXB88RD so according to this segment, the actress playing Babita says that there are some more?! smiley24 faults regarding Nimrit which will be revealed in future tracks… because of which they are desperate to marry her off. What other fault other than ‘dark skin’ can she have that she isn't able to be married off, which is discouraging men from approaching her?! Either some serious disease or Infertility?! smiley3 (from marriage pov) is all I can think of.

I think ambsug was talking about this video.. It isn't the official promo!!! Please be warned..

https://youtu.be/N1dEcI7MuNw?si=R1mY0eF3Sk01sWzG from the 1st few seconds and the thumbnail, Amruta does take a pic while going back home, she is in the same blue sari.. I think this may be a promo available only to the premium users, because I didn't see an official promo.

They won't, that's the problem. If PHs dared do such a story, a lot of shows would be hit (espe if finite). But with TRP games and all, they stick to the norms and can't improve shows' content. No one has the guts to launch a finite show with a simple, relatable yet masaledar story, and break the rules.

As per your idea, acha hai but nowadays all ITV shows (most of the times) have the same basis (as you said), single amir ML (ladkyan uspe marte hai and he kinda like it, bewakuf at some point...), Middle-class FL (working or not but perfect bahu, "sarwa goon sampan", mahan...) And compared to before, today, arranged marriage happens between the lead but majboori ke saat, no love or attraction at first meeting but frustration and both can't bear one another until cupid hits them...and we can go on.

Not a nonsingle ML only, even an amir girl it can be, a lot of new ideas can be brought to the table but ITV hai kabhi change nahin hoga yeh. All saas-bahu shows are the same (at least from what I saw). Like why not do a show with only Middle-class people, Amir vs. M-C zaroori hai kya?

A brief apart: All stories are almost the same and typecasting (espe for our girls) doesn't help either. That's why some actors are not seen anymore or take time to come back. Plus with digital platforms, TV is becoming boring but people still prefer it, but for how long???
